    Don’t miss this historic tour!
James was knowledgeable and interesting. We learned about the history and Art Deco architecture of South beach. Energetic vibe with lots of good tidbits of information you would never know without taking his tour on Versace, the mob, the preservationist-Barbara Baer Capitman etc. I would highly recommend James and the Art Deco historic tour in South Beach Miami

World famous area of Miami Beach
The iconic Art Deco district is something Miami Beach is most recognazible and famous for. Many historic restaurants, hotels, private houses, etc are built in this popular achitecture style from last century 20's and 30's. They're mostly along the legendary Ocean Dr., but can be also found on Collins and Washington Avenues, as well scattered in other parts. During the day Florida sun shines on their white washed facades with pastel colors decorations. At night many neon lights and lines illuminate them, streets are full of people and is very live. Therefore I recommend visitng both, day and night. Prices in the restaurants along are slightly higher, but bearable so I'd also recommend visiting at least one according to your liking. You'll encounter all kinds of people here, many ordinary, but also a lot of strange, extravagant, oddly dressed,....but all very interesting. Also be prepared to see a car on the street you haven't seen in a best and newest car show you've visited, and contrary to that a vintage restored car, so there's no way to be boring here.
