Small but very friendly mission parish
St Gerard's in Edgewater is a mission parish of Sacred Heart Parish of New Smyrna Beach. It is a small Catholic community of predominantly senior citizens as it is located between two senior communities. There are many active ministry groups within St Gerard's and there is a true Christian spirit within the walls. We have only two Masses per weekend, one at 4:30 pm on Saturday and the other on Sunday morning at 10:00 am. We also have a 9am Mass on Wednesdays and on the first Friday of each month.

I like this church because it's small. I've only been here once but found the parishioners to be friendly,and found Father George's homily to be powerful. I wish I lived close by.
