A Wonderful Games
Okay so it was a bit chilly by Florida standards. There was plenty to do. The games are always thrilling to watch. All of the competitors, both men and women, are truly athletic. Of course the Caber always gets the attention but the sheaf, hammer and weight over bar events are amazing to watch as well. The skirl of the pipes always makes the heart grow fonder as does the traditional dance. If you have a mind, try the axe throwing or archery. For the kids there is always a resident Hieland Coo to marvel at. The Clans were well represented including my own Clan Gunn (Aut Pax, Aut Bellum). There is much to learn from all of them. I could have done with a bit more haggis and another Irn Bru.

A great day with lots to do
A one day annual event celebrating all things Scottish. We enjoyed the pipe and drum bands, Highland games, herding dogs and of course the Highland dance competition. We highly recommend seeing this event next year. It is of interest to all ages.
