Great time with animals for the family!
Rooterville is home to rescued farm animals, mainly pigs on 20 beautiful acres surrounded by nature. If you love animals, Rooterville will be an experience you'll never forget! Unlike zoos, with animals in pens, you are in the animals' home when you step onsite. Interact with as many as you like, all are friendly, curious and we welcome visitors to bring small snacks to feed them. Tinsel the cow loves bananas! Great snacks for the pigs will be baby carrots, sliced apples, grapes, etc. Come and experience life on a farm with only happy endings! Learn about what factory farming is doing to our environment, animals and our health. Take information so you can make a difference too! Rooterville is a great place for parties, weddings or events. Its an amazing, magical place! Visits are free. We suggest a donation of $15 pp, whatever you give is appreciated. We offer GLAMPING in our luxurious covered wagons for a truly amazing experience! We can't wait to meet you!

Heartwarming & fun
Rooterville is a sanctuary where the animals are well cared for and thrive. Visitors can walk around freely or be guided. They have friendly knowledgeable staff that are there to make your visit fun. Being up close & personal with the cows, pigs, goats, chickens is a very unique experience. I highly recommend.

What is a sanctuary?
I am amazed how anyone can be 'disappointed' when visiting a sanctuary for rescued animals. Animals are not toys, they are live beings with heart and soul. Rooterville rescues abused, neglected and unwanted farm animals. Not all of them are friendly, some are downright grumpy and most are shy. This is a place where they can roam free, take mud baths, nap all day and never fear for their lives again. If you can understand and respect what a vegan sanctuary is and does, visiting Rooterville will be one of the greatest experiences of your life.
