A group of 5 of us booked a 4 hour charter for a 30th birthday celebration. Our entire experience was wonderful! We arranged transportation with Donna which is great if you don’t have a car or want to worry about driving. But I think the best part was captain Matt! He was very friendly and polite. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time! Water, ice, and light snacks were provided. He took us on a scenic route, pointing out different homes and wildlife along the way. We ended up seeing quite a few dolphins! Then we stopped at a sandbar where we were able to get out and swim. He also took us to a bar & grill on the water for a quick drink before heading back. Matt played great music for us and hyped us up the whole time! He took all kinds of group photos for us which turned out great. We spent 4 days in Siesta Key and this was our favorite part about the trip!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Captain Matt! He was extremely friendly and made an effort to get to know each of us. He was also very knowledgeable about the area and took the time to learn our interests and show us locations he thought we’d like from the boat, as well as thoughtful recommendations for ways to spend our time afterwards! We definitely felt like he was catering to what we wanted to get out of our boat trip, and was very pleasant and entertaining the entire time. We’d highly recommend Captain Matt and this boating experience to all visitors to Siesta Key!

Incredible day on the water with Captain Mike
We booked the full day charter with Key Life Charters for a group of four people to take in the keys off the shores of Sarasota. Donna was absolutely fantastic in helping us to arrange our trip and coordinated with us right up until the time we arrived at the dock. Captain Mike took us on a phenomenal tour up the intercoastal waterway along Siesta Key, Lido Key and Longboat Key. We stopped for snorkeling on the reefs off Siesta Beach and then headed to the North end of Longboat Key to a secluded beach complete with driftwood scenery. Then it was on to lunch at Mar Vista dockside restaurant on North Longboat Key. The stone crabs had just come into season and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and cocktails. Mar Vista is a 'must visit' part of the tour in our option. After lunch we cruised back down the beachside of the keys and enjoyed some close encounters with the local dolphins. The grand finale was our final stop at the Casey Key Fish House's dockside tropical tiki bar. Relaxing with a cool beverage in hand and our toes in the sand was a great time to relive the days action. We could not be more satisfied with our tour with Key Life Charters and can, without reservation, give them our highest recommendation!
