Fishing done right!
Day trip with Captain Q and Lucas was all we could have asked for. They were a hard working captain and first mate team and were engaging with our group. They accommodated the novice anglers in the group and made sure we all brought fish into the boat. Captain Q worked hard all day to put us on fish and knew exactly where to go to give us the best experience. The boat was equipped with a bathroom, refrigerator and hangout spot that was air conditioned. On the ride out Q told some stories of the area and how the different hurricanes have reshaped the area over the years. You have no doubt about his experience on these waters! We left our day of fishing with a few bags of fish filets and great memories of a day on the water! I would highly recommend The Cutting Edge for any level of angler! Great way to spend the day in Key Biscayne!

Amazing experience
We booked this fishing boat for my son’s birthday. Cutting edge fishing with capitan Q was highly recommended to us. It could not been a better experience and the best way to spend my sons birthday. Capitan Quin and his crew were very profesional, very experienced and very friendly. They went above and beyond to find the right spots to get fish. The boat was very clean and well maintained. We would recommend this charter boat to anyone that is looking to have a wonderful fishing experience.

Great Charter
My son Matt and I were out today with Captain Neil and Mate Ryan. Truthfully, we did not know much about the boat but I was referred to them by the captain of another boat that was booked . First thing I noticed was how immaculately kept the boat is. I fish lots of charters and I can’t recall seeing a boat as well maintained as Cutting Edge—extremely clean and comfortable. We first went for small baitfish. Captain Neil put us right on top of the structure and a great net throw by Ryan had us filling the well immediately. Next stop was jigging for larger baitfish on another structure which took all of 5 minutes—leaving plenty of time for fishing. As soon as the kites with 6 lines were out we had a sailfish on. Also picked up other species including king mackerel and black tip sharks on bottom rig while the kites were out. Highlight of the day was a double header with both Matt and I pulling in sailfish at the same time. An absolutely awesome experience. Neil and Ryan worked together like a well oiled machine. If the sailfish are around —they’ll put you on them. When Matt and I return we already know what boat we’re booking.
