The Senator Course at Shula's Golf Club is a classic style course located in the serene town of Miami Lakes. Sprawling over 500 tree shaded acres, players of all skill levels will be challenged by 18 holes, Par 72 championship course. Known as one of Miami's best Championship Golf Courses, The Senator Course is unlike the typical hotel golf course. Originally designed of Bill Watts in 1962 and later updated in 1998 by nationally recognized Golf Course Architect Kipp Schulties, is the perfect destination for great golf.

Enjoyable and Well Maintained
This my first visit to Shula's. I golfed with my father and we had an enjoyable experience. It was a Tuesday afternoon, so game play was not interrupted by large crowds. There is a fair amount of water, but not enough to be overly intimidating for a novice. There was staff to assist with loading our golf carts. The greens and fairways were in good shape. The wildlife was plentiful, but not instrusive since most birds and iguanas stayed close to the water. The GPS feature accessible through their website via any smart phone was a nice touch. Overall, it was very good and we will be back soon.

Service needs help.
Beautiful course, the greens were outstanding, but this award winning course needs help. The staff and the amenities are poor. The staff is rude and unwilling to go out of their way for anything. Water coolers were empty and dirty used carts were left every where.
