Chase Animal Rescue And Sanctuary, Florida, United States

Incredible Experience

Painting with Primates was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. I was worried it would be something where you’re painting and there’s a lemur in a cage behind you. But no, you are IN the lemur enclosure (with other critters too!), and the animals are so friendly and sweet. The staff & volunteers were very knowledgeable and kind, the animals are very well cared for. I will definitely be coming back! (Shoutout to Amber who took the pics for all of us today!)

    This place is AMAZING!!!
I stumbled on to Chase Rescue because my yoga instructor was one of the teachers at their very first Lemur Yoga. It was everything I hoped it would be and more the class was wonderful and the interaction with the ring tailed lemur family did not disappoint. I definitely recommend the yoga class it’s for everyone beginner on up. To my surprise they had soo many different kind of animals to interact with. There was deer, something called a Patagonian Cavy (which are super cool) rabbits and really cool birds and lots more. This place is like a little slice of heaven. And the love and care they give to all their rescues is apparent. They also do tours where they teach you about the endangered lemurs, you get to interact with several different families or troops and hand feed many of the different animals. Chase Rescue is a truly wonderful place and a once in a lifetime experience. Be sure to call and set up a class or tour. I promise you will LOVE IT!! Make sure you have an appointment, you can’t just show up.

    Once in a lifetime!
Truly a once in a lifetime experience. The lemurs were so sweet and really engaged with us. We enjoyed feeding and petting them and interacting with the other animals. Our hosts were very knowledgeable and shared their love of the lemurs with us. For me, the best part was watching them fly through the treetops. We traveled 6 hours and based our entire vacation around this visit and have absolutely no regrets!!
