I Can't Imagine a Better Everglades Airboat Tour!
I have gone on two Everglades airboat rides with Captain Wayne, and I highly recommend him! Captain Wayne loves his job, and it shows. He is excited about introducing visitors to the Everglades, he is very knowledgeable, and he is skilled at sharing that knowledge. He knows where to go to show the variety of birds, alligators, and plants. For example, on my most recent trip we saw a huge flock of white pelicans, which I had never seen before. It was amazing. Also I like the personalized in-depth approach, and the two-hour tours provide an ideal amount of time to see the variety within the Everglades. Yes, Captain Wayne's tours are more expensive than some other airboat tours, but I think it's well worth it. My friends and I enjoyed our airboat tours with Captain Wayne very much!

Airboat in the Everglades
I was in South Florida for three weeks and this Airboat ride with Captain Wayne was the highlight of my time. He was knowledgeable about all species of birds, alligators, and iguanas and had stories to share from that section of the Everglades. This trip was worth every penny. There may be tours that were less expensive but the two-hour private tour with Captain Wayne was by far the best.

Airboat Ride !!!
Wonderful trip through the Everglades sawgrass marshes in the water conservation leaving from the boat ramp near the end of Loxahatchee Road. We had a two hour tour and the airboat captain pointed out many different types of birds and plants throughout the area and he was always on the lookout for alligators (we did see a few). We passed by a few camps - it was quite surprising to see real buildings in the middle of nowhere. Overall the trip was more relaxing than exciting, although it was fun when the airboat was moving at higher speeds. Noise protection was provided and the airboat ride was extremely smooth at all speeds. We would definitely do this again.
