Amazing sunset tour and overnight stay! Marshall is awesome!

We had an amazing sunset tour with Marshall and a comfortable overnight RV stay at his place in the middle of March! The tour exceed all of our expectations and everyone in our party (2 folks in their 70s and three in their 40s and 50s) are telling everyone we meet that it's a must-do adventure when you're in south Florida. Marshall is a walking encyclopedia on all things Everglades: his explanations about the flora, fauna, geography, topology, culture, and history of the place was fascinating and added much to our experience. Of course, the airboat ride was extraordinarially thrilling and unique, and we saw tons of wildlife, including lots of adult and juvenile alligators! We highly recommend the sunset tour, as it gives you a glimpse into life in the daytime, twilight, and nighttime. We got more than we paid for, and will definitely come back for more! Thank you Marshall!

    Fantastic Experience
Our airboat tour of the Everglades through Mack’s Fish Camp was amazing! This adventure is absolutely a "must do" for anyone visiting the Ft Lauderdale area. Marshall, a 5th generation Gladesman, is a tremendous guide and ambassador for the Everglades. His in-depth knowledge of the everglade’s history and ecosystem is impressive, and his ability to communicate his vast knowledge was well worth the cost of the tour. Add the thrill of gliding through the everglades on an air boat at high speed and we had a fantastic afternoon of great memories. We left smarter and much better informed, and very appreciative of Marshall's tremendous customer service, fitting us in last minute during a busy holiday week. We had originally planned to tour the Everglades with one of the more commercial companies, but happened upon Mack’s Fish Camp, and we are so happy we chose it. The small group size and personal nature of the tour allowed for continuous dialogue and learning. It was a remarkable day that we will always remember. This is one time where you reap huge dividends by paying a little extra to get a more personal experience. We highly recommend Mack’s Fish Camp!!

    Totally of the charts!
I first experienced the Everglades about 20 years ago. I did the typical thing, pulled into the first place I found, jumped on a packed boat with about 20 people, and 30 minutes later we were back at the dock. It was a memorable time no doubt. But I don't remember the name of the place or the people who took us out. Fast forward to now, I'm back on a family trip with another couple and we have 4 teenage kids. This time I was looking for something a little more unique. I wanted to experience the everglades, not just see them. I spoke to a handful of places and nothing really flt. I was about to give up and after over looking Mack's Fish Camp initially I decided to call. Immediately my conversation with Marshall was much more personal than the previous outfits. He mentioned he was the 4th generation owner and his enthusiasm shined as he spoke. He highly recommended we take the sunset trip and although it was pretty much the exact opposite of my plan I felt I needed to listen. I didn't feel like a number anymore, I felt like this dude I was talking to lived in the Everglades and wanted to show me his stomping grounds. I could feel the passion and I knew he was the exact person that I wanted for the trip. As we arrived at the entrance we turned onto a two mile dirt road, my wife and the kids became a bit skeptical, but I knew as we entered the foot of the camp this trip was gonna be badass. We were greeted by his wife and Pumba the pig. We took some pictures with all the killer swamp buggies sitting around and hung out on the dock while we waited for him to get the boat ready. He showed us a camp in the middle of the everglades which apparently was at one point an old Indian reservation, took us fishing, educated us, told us stories and we saw plenty of gators. Put it this way, we had 2 girls, 16 and 17 years old, who are not outdoor enthusiast... and they absolutely loved the trip. Marshall simply turned out to be an awesome person to meet, we felt like we made a new friend. I know it seems like the name doesn't quite fit the bill when your searching for a fan boat ride but do yourself a favor, don't over look Mack's Fish Camp. I cant thank you enough Marshall, the adventure was totally of the charts!
