One week on Las Olas Blvd
There is so much to do on this strip. Stay at Riverside Hotel as it is the center of everything. You do not need a car. You can walk everywhere. The dining options are international…. Italian, Cuban, French, American, Greek, Argentinian. Sushi, steak, seafood you name it. Publix and CVS are within walking distance. The boutique shops are amazing and open late. Beware of two shops called Ibiza Shoes and Primo. They are over-priced, they do NOT give you a refund on anything you buy. The sales lady is terrified of the store owner and basically said good luck trying to argue our case with the owner. Will definitely return to Las Olas and especially during the week when the cruise ship crowds are quieter.

    Las Olas Blvd walk
Fun area to walk around, especially if you're in the mood for a sidewalk cafe or bakery. We didn't see much we'd actually buy on the street, except for the restaurant food. Ate at Louie Bossie's italian restaurant and had awesome pizza. The are is good for an hour or two diversion if you're in Ft. Lauderdale. There are public parking lots behind some of the buildings, $3 the first hour, and $1.50 for subsequent hours. You have to use the pay machine to print a ticket to put on your dashboard. Take a picture of your license plate before you go to the machine, because you'll have to enter it into the pay lot machine.
