Rock jumping

Finished out a day of mtn biking with a few jumps into Lake Superior. Easy to do, not too high, and water was about 68 degrees so very pleasant. Parking can be tight and the area is closed to newly entering cars on Weds from 6 pm to 8 pm.

    Nice one way drive
    Beautiful park. We watched a freighter get loaded by the Cliffs Co. Walked out to the light house. Collected a few rocks. Interesting color. Saw many couples grabbing a spot on the rocks and just viewing the clear lake waters of Superior. Take lunch or a book with you. Just kick back. A nice Army vet took our picture with our phone after he saw us doing the selfy thing.

    LOVE this place!
    Absolutely loved this place!! Be mindful of the times the gate is closed, so you will have to walk to see things and not be able to drive. This park is absolutely beautiful. We went 3x while here. Its that pretty. Bathrooms are in the beginning, in the middle area, and at the end. There is also a place at the end to get ice cream. The views are wonderful, so peaceful! Highly recommend seeing black rocks, which is within this park. It is the place where people jump from 20-30 feet rocks into the cold Lake Superior water that is about 30 feet deep.
