This bridge is huge and scenic!
I drove over this bridge roundtrip when we went from Mackinaw City to Saulte Sainte Marie and Tahquamenon State Park. This bridge connected the Upper Peninsula and the Lower Peninsula. This bridge did not accept EZ Pass and Sun Pass payments, and it cost four dollars ($4.00) per trip each way over this bridge. The views of the bridge were great! This bridge was narrow with only two (2) lanes in each direction. There was no pedestrian access across this bridge except for special events. The speed limit was only forty-five (45) miles per hour (M.P.H.) and there was ongoing construction.

    Quite the Driving Experience
We had to wait a while for everyone to get off the bridge since it was Walk the Bridge Day. The toll is collected when you go from North to South. If heights bother you stay on the outside concreate lane. The inside lane is metal grates so you see all the way down to the water
