A TRIP WORTH REPEATING ?
We were wanting a weekend getaway and randomly chose to drive from Indy area to Grand Rapids MI. When we stumbled on the Meijer’s Gardens our minds were blown with an explosion of beautiful flowers, amazing statues and delicious food. The Meijer’s family has done an incredible service to the world by working in harmony with God to provide this place of treasures and delights. There is something for everyone (young & old alike) - both inside and in the incredible outside (weather permitting) gardens and peaceful walks. We STRONGLY RECOMMEND investing an additional $5/person for the tram ride to get an guided tour of the grounds and the secrets of this haven of rest and celebration of beauty. Our tour guide “Al” and driver “Tom” are outstanding and made this trip a true TREAT!! ? We definitely will be back to bring friends and family. Thanks for a great experience worth repeating! ?

Great Visit to a Beautiful Area!
If you are in the Grand Rapids area, definitely visit the sculpture gardens. It is a beautiful area with an impressive array of sculpture and surrounding gardens. I would suggest taking the tram ride when you first arrive. It is an additional $5 per person, but it gives you a great overview of the sculpture garden area. That way you can follow the map and walk back to any pieces you would like to see in more detail. The volunteer who narrated the team ride was excellent and had a tremendous knowledge of the various sculpture. After the tram ride, we walked through the beautiful Japanese Garden and the Children's Garden. If you have small children, they will definitely love this area. Plenty to see for adults as well. We took a break and had lunch at the cafe in the main building. Very good lunch with a good selection. Afterwards we walked through the indoor gardens. Very nice array of tropical and desert fauna. With lunch, we spent about 3 1/2 hours there. We would highly recommend the Sculpture Garden!!
