Nice views!
Fun little stop! We did the drive your own carriage which didn't allow us to get out and actually see the rock, so the next day we decided to make a trip there. It's a pretty easy walk from Mission Point Resort, and then up 200 some steps. It can get very busy there with people taking photos but the line moves quick and there are some nice views of the lake shore.

BEAUTIFUL VIEW FROM THE TOP
My son had been here to view Arch Rock but on a boat in the water, we were actually on the island staying so we rented the bikes and drove to this point, well I had no idea you had to climb this very long stair case to get to the top to have the view of Arch Rock. I heard a little boy tell his grandma that he counted both on the way up and then on the way back down and he said the climb is 224 steps and when it's a hot day it's a hike. Luckily the stairs are in the middle of trees and in the shade which makes the trek a bit cooler, it was quite the trek but when you get to the top of the stairs the view and pictures you can take are amazing. It was very crowded on the top and it was a Wednesday I cannot begin to fathom how crowded this place is on a weekend. The view of the water thru the rock was simply gorgeous the water is such a greenish blue it was amazing. The trek back down the staircase was much easier than the way up. I really enjoyed this part of our bike ride.
