    Wow... We had an amazing day with Paul and George. The rafting was action packed, the company was brilliant and the train ride back to Queenstown was just the wind down we needed. What a great tourism partnership between the West Coast Wilderness Railway, Hydro Tasmania (who allow enough water to run down the river to sustain this tourism venture) and King River Rafting. It's partnerships like this that keep the West Coast Tourism working well so I thoroughly recommend you spend your post Covid dollars here... You won't regret it!!!! See more..

    Exciting experience of white water, using river lilo, which are pumped up hard to keep the speed up. Meeting in the town hall to be fitted out with wet suits , boots, life jackets and helmets. We were then bused to the upstream launch location and a short walk later ready to launch. Launch ing straight into a small rapid we were off down the river. There are a mix of level two and one rapids. After about an hour and half we were finished and a short walk to the waiting bus. We would do it again!! P.S great food in the cafe in town!! See more..
