This shop wasn't as well advertised as other antique stores in town, but was one of the better ones. Hidden in a beautiful old large building featuring lots of little 'rooms' where lots of treasures can be found. For us, this was the best of the 5 antique shops we visited in New Norfolk. I enjoy going to antique shops and this one was one of the best. Excellent variety, helpful service and so much stock. The variety was great. There was even an engraved item that was presented to Joseph Lyons in 1937. I only wish I lived closer.See more..
What a great stop for morning tea on a day exploring the north coast of Tassie. Friendly service with nostalgia by the bucket load including the old copies of Womens Weekly for browsing on the tables. Then there is the cost - how can these lovely ladies keep supply the beautiful home made goodies at such incredibly low prices! Beautiful sweet slices on the large size for only $2.50 and savoury pies for $4.00. Make sure you don’t pass by but drop and support the team working here.See more..
Thought a quick visit to see a few quaint items - took 2 hours and left wanting more. Andrew was one of the collective that run the shop. Very informative regarding wartime artifacts. But the shop holds lots to interest the antique collector or just a clever way to do buy a surprise gift. My goddaughter will receive a locket for her birthday- can recommend if interested in things old and ancient. The prices were reasonable compared to visits to other Antique shops.See more..
