This theatre is a "quiet" attraction - low publicity and on a side street but it is a wonderful attraction of Queenstown. The new owners, who also conduct a range of tours in the Gordon River and Queenstown area, have continued the restoration in great style. The theatre area, now used for regular "fine dining with a movie", is a beautiful example of an art-deco theatre, and for just a few dollars visitors are able to enjoy a self-guided tour. Don't forget the old projection room with its arc light projector. See more..

This was my second time and loved it just as much as the first. Justin is an excellent guide, he explains everything so well. The country has everything from slow going, steep slopes to nicely formed tracks, water and mud (at the right time of year) and wide open areas. Will definitely be back. Thank you Justin. See more..

Paul was an amazing tour guide. The drive through the Magnet Road was amazing with views of the mining site, creeks and the natural flora and fauna. Paul took the time to explain the history of the town and was so accommodating with allowing us to take photos and take in the amazing views. See more..

Make sure this is on your itinerary! Amazing tour with Rob who knows everything about the trails and area. Everything is safe and secure. The first part of the tour lets you get used to the machines and then gets progressively more exciting. No experience is needed to drive the machines, if you can drive a car you can drive these. At the half way point you're treated to an amazing, secluded view of the coast and cliffs. Much easier than hiking and much more of an adventure. Highly recommend for solos, couples and families.
