4.5Barnbougle Dunes(261 reviews) - A great golf course but don’t expect gourmet food Wednesday: 6:30 AM - 9:00 PM Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses
I love this place, what a wonderful course! The only genuine links course in Australia (that I’ve played), it’s always 5* in my eyes. 2 criticisms- the food is over priced for the quality & more importantly, the pace of play has become a problem. I used to come here over ten years ago & it was a mecca for proper golfers. Now you have trophy hunters playing bad golf slowly, usually with the dreaded caddie. The club needs to careful it doesn’t spoil the experience for true golfers.See more..
Right from the outset we were made to feel welcome. Our suite overlooked the ocean, but friends had a very scenic view over the golf course. Bridie made us the best tall Forty Spotted G&T before dinner, and looked after us each night. The Pork Belly was excellent, as was the Duck Confit and Mariners Pie. The only thing that could have been better was my golf. Barnbougle Run was very challenging.See more..

5.0Ratho Golf Course(28 reviews) - A perfect Winter's night Golf Courses
We drove up to possibly get some fruit as the roadside sign said fruit orchard. What a pleasant surprise as property is at the end of the road. The cafe did sell seasonal homegrown apples and veggies. The cakes were both some of the best gluten free options we have tasted. Light and tasty Can recommend the granny’s garden pot of tea with a dash raw honey Lovely chatting to the owners who are well versed in the mountain biking options in the area. Would recommend a stop for tea (or coffee ) and cake after trail riding at Flagstaff. ( lots out outside tables and benches with sun umbrellas for shady option )See more..
4.5Tasmania Golf Club(24 reviews) - Value for money Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Golf Courses
Do not expect a superb top notch golf course but expect a good regional golf course and you probably will agree that this course offers you value for money. The greenfee is 75 AUD for a visitor and this is very reasonable. The driving range is one with a view over the ocean and can handle full driver hits. The putting green is big but not too fast. The course is somewhat wobbly to walk but overall is a considerable okayish to good condition. The greens are all in very good condition. The layout of the course is nice, only holes 12 to 14 are somewhat boring. The staff in the shop and bar / restaurant are very pleasant. We enjoyed the day very much.See more..
Awesome experience! Russell at Ocean Dunes organised and facilitated our 5 day golf trip to King Island for a group of 3. Accommodation, golf, meal bookings, car hire and local knowledge all done with great communication, care and support. Last minute requests and changes were kindly supported, and everything went smoothly. Golf at Ocean Dunes was challenging, but a bucket list experience. Cameron at the pro shop was great, really friendly, excellent customer service, advice and made our experience and golf days flow well. Cape Wickham accommodation was absolutely spectacular, comfortable and sensational views. Golf was again spectacular. See more..

We stayed at the caravan park and were delighted to discover a 9 hole golf course here. It was in better condition that some of the other courses within a couple of hours drive, $20 to play all day. Worth playing if you're staying at Tarraleah or even if you're just passing through! See more..
