She introduced us to a very nice range of whiskies, and a gin or two as well, and provided lots of background about the distillery and the drams. Couldn't resist buying some. Highly recommended. 11. 5.0 Belgrove Distillery (22 reviews)
    - Not to Be Missed Belgrove Distillery
    Spent 1-2 hours Distilleries
    Belgrove Distillery image
We visited Belgrove distillery on Thursday May 26, 2022. Now we have been to Scotland 4 times as well as Japan and Kentucky to drink whisky. The experience (it is more than a tour or a visit) that Peter led us through was amazingly entertaining, interesting and educational – we saw whisky making from a different perspective. Maan then led us through a sensational and lengthy tasting session while we watched Peter and his team bottle and label a batch of Wholly S#*t whisky. Peter is a talented artist (sand and ice sculpturing) and a creative whisky maker. We spent a thoroughly great 3 hours or so at Belgrove and will go back again. A not to be missed stop on the Tasmanian whisky trail. We bought so much we had to get them to ship it back to Brisbane. Cheers Mal, Paul and Russell (aka McMal, McH and McJim) See more..

  13. 3.5 Adams Distillery (10 reviews)
    - Gin and whisky tasting
    Spent 1-2 hours Distilleries
    Adams Distillery image
We had a great time visiting Adam’s distillery on the way to Cradle Mountain from the east coast. Adam kindly agreed to do a last minute tour of their distillery and we were able to see first hand the process of creating lavender and blueberry infused gin! We also saw the cooperage on site which is how the barrels are created. Adam was welcoming and very genuine. The experience felt authentic, informative and a lot of fun. The tastings afterwards were great and led to my boyfriend buying a bottle of the cask strength whisky and myself a bottle of the sloe berry barrel aged gin. Would definitely recommend stopping in!
