5.0Arches National Park(10.8k reviews) - Amazing Spent More than 3 hours National Parks • Hiking Trails • Geologic Formations
Get your timed entry pass $2 at recreation.gov in advance, OR many passes open up the day before. I would still advise an early slot as when we left around 1230, the queue was over 90 min long according to the park signs. Something is not working smoothly! We did the viewing point to Delicate Arch, walked to Landscape Arch and the two others enroute and finished with the windows and double arch. I had wanted to hike to Delicate after reading that it had the 'best payoff' but I'm glad we didn't. There are plenty of arches to see without dragging your family in 100deg heat that far. Tip - go the Moab diner after your hike. Amazing diner food and service. Very popular.See more..
5.0Bryce Canyon National Park(9.038 reviews) - Beauty beyond belief Spent More than 3 hours Geologic Formations
This is my favorite National Park! It is so unique and majestic pictures don’t do it justice. Highly recommend going early to watch the sunrise light up the Hoodoos and an inner canyon adventure aboard a horse or mule with Canyon Trail Rides. No matter what activity you choose you’ll be amazed at the beauty of this parkSee more..
5.0The Narrows(3.626 reviews) - One of the Greatest Day Hike Trails in the USA National Parks • Hiking Trails
True to its name, The Narrows is the narrowest section of Zion Canyon. This challenging hike is one of Zion’s most popular trails, taking you through towering walls of Navajo sandstone that rise up to 2,000 feet. Along the 16-mile hike, you’ll be rewarded with nature’s raw beauty, from the stunning zebra stripes adorning the cliffs to the spectacular slot canyon scenery. Be prepared with water shoes, walking sticks, and waterproof bags as the trail will take you through the Virgin River. Check for flash flood warnings before starting and consider a private tour to tackle the trail safely with a professional guide. – TripadvisorSee more..

We took the 3.5 hour Sunset Tour. Toney, our Navajo guide, took great care of us. He is SO knowledgeable. He shared names and stories about each of the monuments, answered all of our questions and gave us great photo tips along the way. At one point, Toney realized that a bad storm was coming (a summer monsoon). He calmly guided us to an alcove in a rock wall, where we could watch the storm (and the waterfalls that suddenly appeared), but stay safe and dry until the rain stopped. As we left the park, we were greeted by a clear, bright double rainbow. It was magical.See more..
5.0Navajo Spirit Tours(1.831 reviews) - Amazing and authentic experience in Monument Valley Sunday: Cultural Tours • Night Tours • Sightseeing Tours • Hiking & Camping Tours • Archaeology Tours
I was fortunate enough to enjoy a spiritual retreat and then sunset tour through Monument Valley last week and it was nothing short of spectacular. Gary and his lovely wife Dawn couldn't have been nicer. The Shaman they brought to speak to us was so learned and interesting and everyone was welcoming and open. It was a magical night and I HIGHLY recommend spending this with the team of Navajo Spirit Tours.See more..
Best Friends Animal Society is the only national animal welfare organization focused exclusively on ending the killing of dogs and cats in America's shelters. An authority and leader in the no-kill movement, Best Friends runs the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals, as well as lifesaving programs in partnership with rescue groups and shelters across the country. Since its founding in 1984, Best Friends has helped reduce the number of animals killed in shelters nationwide from 17 million per year to about 4 million. That means there are still over 9,000 dogs and cats killed in shelters each day. And we will not be done until that number is zero. Best Friends has the knowledge, technical expertise and on-the-ground network to end the killing and Save Them All(R).See more..
5.0ATV and Jeep Adventure Tours(1.458 reviews) - The Ride of a Lifetime! Sunday: 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM 4WD, ATV & Off-Road Tours • Adrenaline & Extreme Tours
As an older guy with no ATV experience, I elected to ride in a 2-seater with my guide Nagel driving. Thanks to his driving skills, I got the ride of a lifetime, I imagine other single drivers were envious when they saw us. Nagel was attentive to my safety and especially to what I expected on our 4-hour ride, taking me to many interesting rock formations and spectacular views. He was full of information from the composition of the sand to names for the lilies we walked to in a small canyon. I highly recommend Nagel as a guide. The company was responsive to my questions and concerns. I booked through a third party, which was fine, but dealing directly with ATV and Jeep Adventure Tours would be your best choice. On my weeklong Grand Canyon/Las Vegas vacation, these 4 hours were the most memorable. Thanks to the company and Nagel for making a dream come true!See more..

We took two excellent photo tours with Dineh Bekeyah while in Monument Valley. Both were with Harry Nez who is very personable and had wonderful stories of growing up in the valley and shared his knowledge of the Dine people, culture and language. Harry is also a wonderful photographer and had great suggestions about both composition and technical aspects of photography. The first day was a morning tour through the valley to many wonderful locations. The second day was the highlight of our trip with a late afternoon/evening/sunset trip up to Hunt's Mesa. It was quite a 4-wheel drive adventure getting to the top of the mesa and the views were spectacular. It was an amazing vantage point to over look the entire valley. We highly recommend Dine Bekeyah Tours and especially Harry Nez.See more..

5.0Rocky Mountain Outfitters(1.146 reviews) - Surprise ride for my loved one! Sunday: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM Fishing Charters & Tours • Horseback Riding Tours
I surprised my loved one with a two hour ride. She had no idea what we were doing, and was blown away with how awesome the whole experience was. When we arrived we were greeted with enthusiasm and wonderful hosts. I took the opportunity to propose to my loved one and the guide was quick to grab a picture of me down on one knee handing the ring to her. I had never been on a horse before and the horses were very well behaved. I was very impressed with how the whole experience went and would recommend Rocky Mountain Outfitters to anyone that wants to have an awesome time for a great price. I will definitely be using this service in the future. Fantastic job!See more..

My partner and I went on the East Zion Jeep Tour and it was such a wonderful experience! Our guide, Teresa, was a very skilled driver and told us a lot about the areas we drove through. The jeep had great suspension which made the off-road terrain a lot of fun in the snow. We stopped at an overlook which had spectacular views of Zion from farther up, and Teresa let us take our time there before heading back. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see parts of Zion that are less travelled.See more..
5.0Corona Arch(1.025 reviews) - Worth the Effort! Geologic Formations
For me, 59 and carrying more weight than I should, found the hike to be challenging. My wife who is in better shape and other younger people we ran into on the trail seemed to be manage very well. Awesome views and some adrenaline pumping moments make this a memorable hike. We actually got caught in a rain/hail storm on the hike back. We had to take shelter under a pinion tree! The rain added a degree of difficulty but we made it. Along the the drive, stop at Thompson Springs to view the petroglyphs.See more..
5.0Canyon Trail Rides(1.001 reviews) - Highly recommend for a Unique experience! Horseback Riding Tours
We did a 1 hour tour on 4/4/2022. Our tour guide was Kitty and she was entertaining, informative, and very thoughtful. We did the 9:30am tour and it was chilly so we needed a jacket and kids even wore winter gloves. We were a group of 5 and most of us never ridden on a horse so this was a very new and fun experience. My kids thought it was so cool to ride the horses across the river. Make sure to read the instructions on parking carefully! It was nice that they allow us to drive down the private "shuttle only" road to the horses. I highly recommend this very unique experience. It was the highlight of our trip!See more..

5.0Bryce Point(829 reviews) - Bryce Point: Bryce Canyon National Park Observation Decks & Towers
Gorgeous Promontory: AMAZING panoramic views! I ran from view to view all the way up to Rainbow Vista, but I've never experienced anything in my whole life like Bryce Point. The small hike was paved, & felt secure. I loved all the small vistas along the way, getting fun pics of cave-like depressions, & startling drop offs with interesting geology. Before I even realized it, I found myself alone on the cement oval promontory. It was nearly sunset. There are no words to describe how I became transfixed on the spot! Not simply from the amazing 360° panoramic view, but from the awe inspiring heights! I felt like lying prone on the smallish oval of cement with only waist high curved in fencing. Those with heights sensitivity beware! Someday I'll go back. I'll stand on that point with the wind in my hair & feel strong, free, ¬ afraid... because that beauty is to be absorbed & enjoyed.See more..

Adam, the owner was extremely accommodating, helpful and he made sure that we had everything we needed for an excellent day snowmobiling. We could not have dreamed up a better guide than Jake. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly patient. He took tons of pictures of us and we enjoyed our time with him immensely. What a great time we had for our first canyoneering adventure! Dion and Gabby were skilled, experienced, thoughtful, and a joy to be with. Winter weather had just hit Zion and surrounding areas so they took the time to seek out and do a rehearsal on a new spot for them--- just so we could still do something amazing during our limited time at Zion NP. They explained everything with patience and clarity and definitely knew their stuff. We loved it and highly recommend Rock Odysseys!See more..

This was a great canyoneering experience! At first we wanted to take the morning session but the afternoon session actually worked out much better with weather being perfect. We were able to book the adventure a day before for 4 people and got the whole guide to ourselves. Many other canyoneering places were booked at least a week out and had higher prices. Our guide Melissa was AMAZING! she explained everything well, great conversations, gave us choice to where to go, made us feel safe and allowed the perfect amount of time to experience what we expected to in a Half day trip. I've already had friends reach out and would like to try something like this. I highly recommend this company.See more..

We were not sure what to expect when we booked our canyoneering adventure, but our experience far exceeded our expectations. From our initial introductions when we entered the shop throughout our 5 hours together, every step was fantastic. Jackson was our guide and coach for the day and he was fantastic. Traveling with 2 adults and 2 kids under 10, we were incredibly impressed with the knowledge, patience, understanding and commitment to providing the best possible experience for our family. He took the extra time to make sure that we all had a great time and really helped the kids feel comfortable in the climbs and rappels and they had a great time because of his hand holding and support. We would recommend Zion rock and mountain guides to anyone looking to get out and explore more of what Zion has to offer and make sure to ask for Jackson!See more..

Great experience and great customer service. The owner Johnathan is truly a great business owner and operator. He made sure my party of 4 had an experience in Zion unmatched to other competitors in the area. He personally helped resolved some hiccups in the trip itinerary that did not have any correlation with Zion Guru but another party. However, Zion Guru went above and beyond to make sure the trip we came on was eventful, enjoyable, and filled with adventurous memories. I would highly recommend Zion Guru, their prices, customer service, and overall experience put them on the top of the list of Zion Adventure companies. 5.0Dark Ranger Telescope Tours(515 reviews) - The night skies are amazing Sunday: 8:30 PM - 11:45 PM Night Tours
I actually went two times, first was in July cause I've never done this before, and second time was in Aug. for the Perseid Meteor Shower. I was not disappointed. It's a short drive from downtown Bryce Canyon City. They are very conscious of Covid-19, you will have to wear a face mask and rubber gloves, If you don't have any, they will provide. Make sure your wear warm gloves over the rubber gloves and wear warm clothing, for it will get chilly. I highly recommend paying the extra 10.00 to get the gravity chair. There is a program before it gets dark and have practice run on how to use telescopes. Kate did the program, and it was very informative . If you don't know much about the night sky, you will know a lot more afterwards. I learned about moon phases, got to see craters on the Moon, Jupiter, Mars, star clusters, rings of Saturn, I saw the Milky Way for the first time. They serve hot chocolate and coffee. There is a bathroom(just in case) Kevin and everyone working the telescopes (sorry I don't remember everyone's name) are all very easy to talk to and they want to answer your questions. Dark Ranger Telescope Tours is an excellent company, the price is very reasonable and I highly recommend them. I will definitely be returning. Thank you to everyone there for giving me a perfect evening.See more..
5.0UTV Adventure Tours(510 reviews) - The most fun I've had in a long time Sunday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM 4WD, ATV & Off-Road Tours
This is one of the best experiences you can do in the Zion area. Absolutely worth the money, it not only is an experience of ripping a super capable UTV, but it also comes with unbelievable sights and tour guides that take their time to make sure everyone is having fun. I drive racecars regularly and these UTV's still put a huge smile on my face, they are a blast to drive through the sand hollows. You cannot beat this experience, and no matter which tour you pick, you will leave wishing it was a longer trip!See more..

5.0Zion Jeep Tours(425 reviews) - Angles of Zion only seen off the beaten path Sunday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 4WD, ATV & Off-Road Tours • Helicopter Tours • Safaris
We took an evening sunset tour with Kevin for 4 people, 2 adults and 2 teens. We had the open air Jeep that sat 5 outside of the driver, so there was plenty of room. Kevin was fantastic, conversational the whole time including bits about the history of the land, geography, some really cool hidden gems including dinosaur tracks and he did a great job engaging our kids. We also got to hit some spots only a Jeep could go, and got some great “wheeling” time. I myself am a Jeep owner, so although I really would have liked to be behind the wheel, the best part is we were able to tip and step out and not have to power wash my Jeep afterward! I would definitely recommend Kevin and his tour!See more..

5.0Red Hills Desert Garden(405 reviews) - Well worth a visit. Sunday: 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Parks • Gardens
I used to manage garden centers, as well as teach edible wild plant classes, so seeing gardens across the country is something I enjoy doing. If you enjoy gardens too, do not miss this one. Unbelievably, it's free! It is laid out thoughtfully. Plants are grouped, more or less, by type. When one thinks of desert gardens, one might think boring plants that aren't that pretty. But they did a great job highlighting the beauty of desert plants. Well worth a visit. We went just before sunset, so the heat of the day was gone, and there was a slight breeze. I recommend either this time of day or early in the day to avoid heat. They are open daily 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.See more..
5.0Scenic Byway Route 12(398 reviews) - A beautiful route through the National Parklands and Canyons of Utah. Spent More than 3 hours Scenic Drives
When on a recent road-trip to take in the Zion, Bryce Canyon and Colorado National Monument Parks I drove the full length on the Scenic Byway 12 in Utah. It is clearly marked with a large sign when to enter it (at either end). It really is a fabulous route through some stunning scenery. Canyons, mountains, arches, plains... Just beautiful. The road is in excellent condition too and very well maintained and marked. I would certainly take this route again next time I am visiting Utah and the National Parks. A road for those that love to drive... Awesome.See more..
