    Historic 25th Street image
Fun area to explore while visiting Ogden. Lots of restaurants in the area as well as a few shops! Many had limited hours and seem to be open mostly Thursday - Sunday. Also a number of the restaurants don’t open until the evening hours. It was still fun to explore and there are informational signs along the street and on some of the buildings explaining the history of this street. Also, right down the street from here is the Utah train museum and other small museums. See more..

The Historic Downtown area of St. George is in the center of town with banners marking the district. There are many civic sculptures and historic buildings included in the area. The old civic buildings are built of red sandstone and include the Tabernacle, Library, Courthouse, Children's Musem, and Library. There is a large open area, a splash pad, carousel, and covered picnic area. Several of the original houses have been converted into restaurants and shops. Many placards and maps inform the visitor of the different sites in the Historic District. See more..

    Torrey Petroglyphs image
This is actually located east of Torrey and very close to the Fruita Schoolhouse on Utah 24. These petrogyphs are an easy tie in with the school and the Hickman Natural Bridge. I stopped here because this exhibit was considerably less crowded then the ones in the park. It took just a few minutes to view and was very worth while. This was a very interesting eye into the ancient history of the area. It is free! See more..
