He shared names and stories about each of the monuments, answered all of our questions and gave us great photo tips along the way. At one point, Toney realized that a bad storm was coming (a summer monsoon). He calmly guided us to an alcove in a rock wall, where we could watch the storm (and the waterfalls that suddenly appeared), but stay safe and dry until the rain stopped. As an older guy with no ATV experience, I elected to ride in a 2-seater with my guide Nagel driving. Thanks to his driving skills, I got the ride of a lifetime, I imagine other single drivers were envious when they saw us. Nagel was attentive to my safety and especially to what I expected on our 4-hour ride, taking me to many interesting rock formations and spectacular views. He was full of information from the composition of the sand to names for the lilies we walked to in a small canyon. I highly recommend Nagel as a guide. The company was responsive to my questions and concerns. I booked through a third party, which was fine, but dealing directly with ATV and Jeep Adventure Tours would be your best choice. My partner and I went on the East Zion Jeep Tour and it was such a wonderful experience! Our guide, Teresa, was a very skilled driver and told us a lot about the areas we drove through. The jeep had great suspension which made the off-road terrain a lot of fun in the snow. We stopped at an overlook which had spectacular views of Zion from farther up, and Teresa let us take our time there before heading back. We took an evening sunset tour with Kevin for 4 people, 2 adults and 2 teens. We had the open air Jeep that sat 5 outside of the driver, so there was plenty of room. Kevin was fantastic, conversational the whole time including bits about the history of the land, geography, some really cool hidden gems including dinosaur tracks and he did a great job engaging our kids. We also got to hit some spots only a Jeep could go, and got some great “wheeling” time. I myself am a Jeep owner, so although I really would have liked to be behind the wheel, the best part is we were able to tip and step out and not have to power wash my Jeep afterward! Our tour guide, Mason, took us on a two-hour ride through Wasatch Mountain State Park where we did several water crossings, wove through aspen groves, and climbed to the top of the mountain to enjoy unparalleled views of the state park, Heber Valley, and Deer Creek Reservoir. We passed a handful of other riders on the trails, but we had the final viewpoint to ourselves and it was amazing. We were referred by our hotel to Sleeping Rainbow Adventures for a jeep tour and we were not disappointed! Erin was our guide and she was very knowledgeable, despite her short time in the area. This points directly at the owners and their vast knowledge and ensuring their guides are just as informed. We recommend the 5-7 hour tour if you are seeing Capitol Reef as there is plenty of time to get out, walk around the sites and take lots of pictures! We thought 5+ hours would be a long ride, but in fact it went by so fast. Our ATV tour of Red Rock Canyon with Gabe Owen's was the highlight of our trip to the Bryce Canyon area! You check in at the beautiful, but small Bryce Canyon airport, sign the usual waivers, then are taken to the tour location behind the Red Rock Canyon. After checking my husband's experience driving an ATV, we took off down a gravel road, and worked our way up into the canyon following in or next to a dry riverbed. The views were breathtaking! We stopped periodically for Gabe to point out some things of interest and share a bit of the local history. He was patient and always checking to be sure George was doing OK with a couple tough places to maneuver. 3, 50’ish ladies just completed the Capital Reef, 5 day Horsebackriding/camping trip with Hondoo. We all agree our horses were some of the best we have ever ridden. Before embarking on out trip we bombarded Pat with so many emails and phone calls on what her protocols were to keep us all safe during COVID. They did a spectacular job. We were very comfortable with all the precautions. Our tents and supplied bedding were top notch. Our group was joined by another group of 3 who had various dietary restrictions and requests. We rented 4 ATVS and 2 side by sides for a half day in the Unitas. Experience was awesome, and views were amazing. We were an experienced group that was somewhat worried the experience would be too juvenile, but it was not. Great trail with plenty of options all the way to Mill Hollow. Trails are bumpy but the machines were well powered and we were able to cover a good amount of terrain. Trail markings aren't the best (something I actually love about Utah), so take a detailed trail map from AllTrails if you aren't good with finding your way around. Side by side handled terrain better, and ATVs more challenging to ride, but both very fun if you know how to handle. We will be back soon!See more..

Thanks for 2 awesome trips. Shawn met us early so we could photograph the Temple of the Sun at sunrise and then we continued on for an extended tour of Cathedral Valley. He has great knowledge of the history, geology and best photo spots on the tour. Shawn was patient with my photo exercise and very easy to get along with. He has great communication/personal skills and answered all our questions with enthusiasm. With 25+ years in the area, he is well informed about all aspects of adventure in the area. We liked the Cathedral Valley tour so much, we did a UTV tour up Sulphur Basin with Shawn. Both tours had spectacular landscape scenery and Shawn delivered the best of it to us in style. David patiently spent so much time with me on the phone giving me information, directions and advice to make our day truly fulfilling. I knew right away that David was a guy who really LOVES his work, wanting his customers to get the most out of their adventure. Why would I rent from anywhere else? He was accessible during the planning process always eager to share his knowledge of the best places to go but but also during the day when we needed to reach him. David and Tina were very accommodating with equipment as well, in addition to the normal helmets, gloves, goggles, straps, etc that you would expect; they also offered us backpacks and coolers so that we could travel with food and an array of clothes for the whole day. We rented two jetskis for a full day. Paperwork and launch was super smooth thanks to Mike. We were on the water in less than an hour. Jetskis were brand new (2022 Sea Doo GTX 130) and great on gas. Our family (2 adults, a 5 year old, and a 2 1/2 year old) had a BLAST.
