Great trip, what an adventure ! Led by an extremely skilled and knowledgeable boat team who were all really friendly and looked after us brilliantly. We were well fed and had everything we needed. We learnt so much about the history and geology of the Canyon along with loads of laughter and great fun on the water. The whole back to nature and leave only footprints experience suited us perfectly and along with the excitement of the rapids it all combined to make this a trip of a lifetime .We would definatly recommend this Company and hope to return to them for the 11 day expedition. We hired them to shuttle my friend and me to a Trailhead for a planned multi-day hike in BRCA. The level of service was phenomonal at every step, from initial call for info, to booking and payment, and even accommodating a change of itinerary. We were referred by our hotel to Sleeping Rainbow Adventures for a jeep tour and we were not disappointed! Erin was our guide and she was very knowledgeable, despite her short time in the area. This points directly at the owners and their vast knowledge and ensuring their guides are just as informed. We recommend the 5-7 hour tour if you are seeing Capitol Reef as there is plenty of time to get out, walk around the sites and take lots of pictures! We thought 5+ hours would be a long ride, but in fact it went by so fast. There is so much to see and Erin was so open to conversation and willing to point out the various structures and history that you just don't watch the clock.See more..
Jim took our family of five (including 8, 6, and 5 year old children) on a slot canyon tour outside of Escalante. He catered the tour to our children's abilities while still challenging them. He taught us all basic climbing maneuvers that assisted in moving through the tight canyons. He was friendly and fun. Of a 16 day road trip, this tour was the highlight of our vacation. Our tent was better than some hotel rooms we have had! Spotless, tastefully decorated, fully outfitted with cookware, plates, etc. We had a slight issue with our coffee maker Within minutes of our text someone brought us a replacement. Great experience! Jason is exceptional! He was a wealth of knowledge. Full of information about different geological ages, the varied native cultures and traditions. He shared a lot of information about the wildlife, the weather systems, the seasonal patterns, and flash flooding. Traveling through the slot canyons is an experience I will always remember! Our guided tour with Louis Williams was by far the highlight of our trip to southeastern Utah. We visited cliff dwellings in the Bears Ears National Monument, and all along the way, Louis shared his fascinating stories of the ancient Indigenous way of life, the geology of the region, its plants and animals. When we booked the tour, our intention was simply to learn about what we were seeing. Louis provided us with so much more! We took a half day hike around the rim of Bryce Canyon with April. It was INCREDIBLE! Starting at sunrise and walking around the rim give us great views of the ever changing wonderland. We went rock climbing and rappelling with a youth group of 20 young men. Lane, Colter, and Mick were excellent guides. They were very patient and kind with the youth and could relate well with them. Because of their excellent skill many of the young men were able to face their fears and do something outside of their comfort zone. The young men absolutely loved it and many said it was their favorite experience they had. Without reservation, I would recommend Tucker High Adventure Tours for any of their services they offer. Tim was awesome prioritizing safety so we could prioritize fun. The experience was both active and educational as Tim shared information about the history and geology of the area. Tim was particularly great with our apprehensive six year old guiding him with adept encouragement as he encountered some challenging areas on the trek. Our six year old ended up loving it as did the whole family. Our time with Tim was the highlight of a multi NP, multi family activity vacation. The views were incredible too. We rented two jetskis for a full day. Paperwork and launch was super smooth thanks to Mike. We were on the water in less than an hour. Jetskis were brand new (2022 Sea Doo GTX 130) and great on gas. We got to explore all the way out to Padre Bay and made it back with almost half a tank of gas (in ECO mode). Gunning it in Sport mode is highly recommended . Thanks OAR.See more..
My husband and I greatly enjoyed our hike with Jeff. He took us slick rock hiking in a location that we could never have accessed with our rental SUV. The hike was just the right length with the right level of challenge. We visited a secluded slot canyon and took a break in a very special small cave. That was all amazing as was the weather. What put the hike over the top was Jeff. He really listened to our description of the type of hike that we wanted to do. He's also a great guy. Wonderful to talk to with a great sense of perspective. If we are ever in the area, we will definitely try to arrange another hike with Jeff.See more..
My family and I had an amazing experience with Greater Zion E-Bike Rentals!! They helped us fold up the bikes, put them in our car, and we took them for a few days. We were able to avoid the lines and hassle of waiting for the shuttle bus in the park. We also went on some trails outside the park that they recommended. I participated in the Wild Utah Tours Get Mirnavated 2022 Retreat. I can sum up my experience in one phrase: life-changing. Shanti and her team guided a group of 25 women through some of the most breathtaking landscape on this continent. Activities were tailored to the abilities and interests of our diverse group. Dining experiences included with our package were delicious, and housing accommodations were comfortable and welcoming. I loved having access to staff members with a great variety of skills, from trail running coaches to search & rescue to geology to photography to palentology to painting to guided meditation, and came away from the week with a deeper knowledge of the wilderness in southern Utah, better skills as a runner and hiker, and a deep connection to the women who shared this journey. Josh is great. After our RZR broke down 1/4 from the parking lot, he actually chauffeured us around all weekend in his rig. Very low key, local guide with life-long knowedge of the area. The tours actually hit a wide variety of historical sites from Anasazi to pioneer times to mining and industrial revolution. You could spend a lot of time in this area, but it's off the beaten path a bit so it's not overrun by traffic. Hurry and take the chance to do the tours before everything in that part of the country is restricted for vehicles.See more..

Louis is like a breath of fresh air in this highly commercialized industry. We hiked to various sites with him for 3 days and he taught us so much: from native flora to ancient history. We even picked up a few Navajo words. He is a messenger of his culture, endangered plans, animals, and desert biosoil. We appreciated so much what he does out there - pure magic. Plus, we wouldn't be able to find all the sites that we explored with him. We are so hooked on the Native American history after this trip that now when I am back in California, I instinctively keep looking for sites, building rocks, pottery, and ancient ash :)). This was one of the funnest tours we've ever taken. Robert picked us up at the hotel and took us to Moonshine arch which is spectacular. Then in his Jeep we crawled up turtle mountain and headed higher up as my photos show. It was extreme off road if and we loved every minute of it.
