Nice side detour on our vacation. Neat experience at a good value. Written instructions are a bit value but if you buy online just go inside at your time. Bring a towel. Grab a changing room quick at be prepared to wait a few minutes. Overall an interesting experience and I’d do it again! See more..
  3. 3.5 Mystic hot Springs (230 reviews)
    - A blast from the past!

This review is specific to the "soaking experience" which lasts 2 hours and costs $25 per person. There are other amenities on site (glamping, massages, etc.). If you visit the website while booking, I like that they provide history about that spot that has been around since the late 1800s, and that they do their best to prepare you for what to expect. The hot springs are a blast from the past - very hippiesh as others have said. It's a bit rough around the edges, but honestly that's part of the charm! If you're looking for a luxurious 5-star hot springs, this might not be it. But if you're looking for something with a story and is off the beaten path, this is a must! There are beautiful views from the different tubs. I can imagine that this is an extra fun spot during a music festival. Definitely recommend if you're driving through the area. See more..
  4. 4.0 Crystal Geyser (102 reviews)
    - Photo op deluxe!

This was a second visit to the geyser. Whether the geyser is erupting or not, this is a beautiful place to visit, and truly appears to be somewhat of a hidden gem. If you like quiet solitude in nature this is it. There have only been two other cars both time we visited. If you're going specifically to see an eruption do some research prior and plan on spending some time there as the geyser has no regular schedule. The road starts off rough pavement and then is dirt. It seemed the road had been recently graded when we went because it really wasn't all that rough. The road has signs directing to geyser so pay attention. See more..
