This bridge is located on Utah State Route 95 (Bicentennial Highway) about 77 miles northwest of Blanding. It crosses 200' above the Colorado River and is the official point where the river becomes Lake Powell, part of Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. The arch bridge is an attractive structure but the views of the river and lake in the canyons below are the real draw - the scenery is outstanding! Watch for a driveway to the Hite Overlook on the south side of the road; it's about 6 miles past the bridge if you're northbound, or 15 miles past the intersection with UT276 to Ticaboo and Bullfrog if you're southbound. This viewpoint offers amazing panoramic views of the lake and you can see the bridge upriver in the distance (binoculars or zoom lens might be helpful). Educational signs provide information on the history of the area. There are other places to pull off along the shoulder of the road as well - just be careful. See more..

Cool old one way bridge on the way to Grafton Ghost Town. I wouldn’t go here just to see the bridge, but it is right off the highway to Zion. So, if you’re into bridges it is an easy find. See more..
