I surprised my loved one with a two hour ride. She had no idea what we were doing, and was blown away with how awesome the whole experience was. When we arrived we were greeted with enthusiasm and wonderful hosts. I took the opportunity to propose to my loved one and the guide was quick to grab a picture of me down on one knee handing the ring to her. I had never been on a horse before and the horses were very well behaved. I was very impressed with how the whole experience went and would recommend Rocky Mountain Outfitters to anyone that wants to have an awesome time for a great price. My partner and I went on the East Zion Jeep Tour and it was such a wonderful experience! Our guide, Teresa, was a very skilled driver and told us a lot about the areas we drove through. The jeep had great suspension which made the off-road terrain a lot of fun in the snow. We stopped at an overlook which had spectacular views of Zion from farther up, and Teresa let us take our time there before heading back. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see parts of Zion that are less travelled.See more..

We did a 1 hour tour on 4/4/2022. Our tour guide was Kitty and she was entertaining, informative, and very thoughtful. We did the 9:30am tour and it was chilly so we needed a jacket and kids even wore winter gloves. We were a group of 5 and most of us never ridden on a horse so this was a very new and fun experience. My kids thought it was so cool to ride the horses across the river. Make sure to read the instructions on parking carefully! It was nice that they allow us to drive down the private "shuttle only" road to the horses. I highly recommend this very unique experience. It was the highlight of our trip!See more..

While staying at the Grand Canyon North, we had the pleasure of taking the mule ride into the canyon and I am SO glad we did. "Kansas" was our guide and he was excellent! He told us fun stores along the way and was very attentive to everyone's needs. The mules were well cared for and were experts at navigating the narrow path. Kansas made the 3-hour ride extra special with his knowledge of the canyon. Going into the canyon was truly an experience as the scenery certainly changes as you go down. This would be an absolute MUST when visiting the North Rim!See more..
We went on a half day ride today through impressive canyons, slots, etc. Our guide (Andy) was competent, friendly, and helped make the ride a great adventure. We rode the sandstone and desert mountains in the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument; then up in Boulder Mountain; and helped move cattle in their working ranch. Absolutely wonderful. Beyond expectations! We had a group of 6 with two parents and four teenagers. Some were super excited, some not but by they end we all loved it! Our guide Christy, really catered to our group with great jokes and lots of information about the area. Christy also has good experience with people with autism and anxiety. She was very watchful with our group stopping to check on everyone and gave great advice. The ride itself was so scenic. We went up a river bed with some ups and downs which were perfect, not too extreme. We have been coming to Capitol Reef for decades and I saw it with new eyes on this ride. Imagine this under a starry sky, warm campfire logs and Mike's baritone singing some cowboy songs. In the middle of nowhere, all you hear were soft muffling of the dogs and newborn pups. No TV, no radio no light pollution. We felt like we got transported 100 years back in time, wild wild west style! They ride all year long. We took a horseback tour with Outlaw Trail Guide today and absolutely loved it. We are a family of five with a 16 year old and 9 year old twins. Upon arrival we were met by Daniel who owns the company. After a brief instructional period we mounted our horses for a two hour tour along Capitol Reef. Our guide Stetson was great. Very knowledgeable about the area and the horses. He was able to line us all up for a family photo, checked our saddles and stirrups mid ride to make sure all was in order and was very attentive to our group. The horses were great. They were very gentle and knew exactly what to do. The ride was great and the scenery was fantastic.
