It takes time to get to, but Calf Creek falls are a recommended site to visit.See more..
4.5Bridal Veil Falls(515 reviews) - Stretch Your Legs for a Quick Look Waterfalls
As of 10/2021, there is construction at the falls - it looks like it will be going through the end of the year. Still nice to see, but it does impact the visit as an FYI. The falls are a nice side trip from driving. It’s a quick trip from the car from either the viewpoint or from the lower area where you can hike more. The hike up to the falls is hard and risky without proper footwear and probably hiking poles. Nonetheless, you can see and enjoy the falls without much effort.See more..
4.5Kanarra Falls(105 reviews) - Awesome creek and slot canyon hiking Hiking Trails • Waterfalls
This hike was so awesome! You do need to make reservations on line, so don't forget that. Also, the creek waters are cold and you cannot avoid getting wet eventually. We wore neoprene divers booties which was helpful. I wore those closed toe hiker sandals over my booties so as to have some grip and toe protection. Also, at least one hiking pole would be helpful.See more..
4.5Provo River Falls(56 reviews) - Beautiful Falls with Easy Access Spent < 1 hour Waterfalls
This is one of the most beautiful areas in the Unitas that is easily accessible. The parking lot is less full on weekdays. There are two restrooms with pit toilets. There are several trails down to the falls - the one that takes you right to the edge is a bit slippery, even when dry, so be careful. It's nice to walk down the edge and put your feet in the water. Even on a day in July it was cool and pleasant - more cool than down in the cities along the Wasatch. This is an easy drive and a nice place to visit along the Mirror Lake Highway.See more..
We went down in the summer and the area is cooler than most of central Utah. Having said that we left early in the morning and the hike was very enjoyable. The falls were amazing and we played and relaxed for a good hour. Toward the end of our hike on the return trip it started to go from pleasant to hot. As we passed people walking toward the falls they were covered in sweat as there isn't much shade. Very grateful for going early.See more..

5.0Kanarraville Falls(19 reviews) - Best hike in the area, outside Zion Spent More than 3 hours Waterfalls
This is the best thing around the area, outside of Zion National Park. It is a mini Zion Narrows. Yes, you must have a $12 reservation per person (and many days are sold out), but my two adult sons rated this the best hike on the trip and we did Bryce, Zion and the Grand Canyon. You also need sturdy shoes to walk in water and a lot of scrambling on the trail is required, but this is simply a unique hike that an able person should do at least once. Note: I would not recommend this hike for kids under 12, given the rough terrain and scrambling required.See more..
We went to the Toquerville Falls earlier this month. The road getting there is rough. The falls are beautiful! There is an upper water fall & a lower waterfall. People jump off the lower falls in the spring & early summer. I don’t know if it’s safe as the summer goes on. We enjoyed it!See more..
4.5Cascade Falls(9 reviews) - AMAZINGLY beautiful short hike Nature & Wildlife Areas • Waterfalls
Did this short hike near Duck Creek when we were visiting Cedar Breaks NM for the day. Sooo amazing from this elevation being able to see down the Zion canyon. You hike along a ridgeline with astounding views and end up at a waterfall coming out of the rock wall. It exits Navajo Lake thru holes at bottom of the lake and exits through the Rock. Truly amazing and quiet spot. See more..
