    We rented a side by side for a 2 hour unguided trip this morning. Jeff gave us great directions with the trail map, and helped us get on our way. Our family (2 adults, a 5 year old, and a 2 1/2 year old) had a BLAST. Jeff gave us tips of where to go and stop to see a breathtaking view, bristlecone pine trees, prairie dogs, the reservoir, and more.     This road let’s you drive on the road less traveled. When I was on the paved road I saw hundreds of cars. On this road I saw maybe 10. That being said, I would not recommend taking your sedan on this road. Washboard gravel makes up half the length of this road. It’s do-able just slow. See more..
