I surprised my loved one with a two hour ride. She had no idea what we were doing, and was blown away with how awesome the whole experience was. When we arrived we were greeted with enthusiasm and wonderful hosts. I took the opportunity to propose to my loved one and the guide was quick to grab a picture of me down on one knee handing the ring to her. I had never been on a horse before and the horses were very well behaved. I was very impressed with how the whole experience went and would recommend Rocky Mountain Outfitters to anyone that wants to have an awesome time for a great price. We booked with Big Rock Adventures for our young men annual camp out. Rachel was great to work with for scheduling our activities and being flexible on the numbers. They kept changing and they even charged us less when one member of our group didn’t do one activity. Our boys had a great time with all of the activities and the river guides we had were awesome. Ask for Gene or Nick. With either of these guides you have improved your chances of becoming a better fisherman, period. If your skills improve, and the bite is on, you will more likely have an unforgettable day. I have been going to the Green for almost three decades, not because it is beautiful, but it is, OMG! I return because when I listen to my guide, Gene or Nick, my chances of catching an exceptional fish, amongst excellent numbers suddenly improves. We had a great October day on the water with Spinner Fall...10 anglers, 5 boats and great memories had by all. All 5 guides (Charlie, Brad, Max, Keenan, and John) were fantastic and created a pleasureable experience for everyone in our group. I floated with Charlie Card who was an exceptional guide. With more than 25 years of guide experience on the Green River, Charlie is extremely knowlegable and experienced. I have floated a lot of rivers in the west over the years with alot of different guides and I can say emphatically that Charlie was the best I've ever had the pleasure of fishing with. My sister and I booked a trip with Fish Heads to go fly fishing on the Provo River in Utah. The whole experience was fantastic! Joe Wahl was our guide, and he truly catered to our every need. His main goal was to make sure we caught fish, and we truly caught quite a few beautiful trout, which we carefully eased back into the water after taking their picture. My husband has booked with Gordon now 3x & each time done 2 days, once w/his buddy, once w/our daughter, once w/me. I don't fly fish AT ALL, but I guess I do now Gordon was instructional, patient, & encouraging. His lunches are the bomb too. He loves smoking his cheeses & meats. They are delicious! He'll literally hook up & untangle your line EVERY TIME. I started doing some of my own detangling & I think he was surprised (but I've been spin fishing with hubby before in the Sierras & let's just say I've snared a bush or two along the banks♀️). He knows his boat, this river, the region, historical tidbits, and how to deliver on schooling you up. This experience with THIS guide is a #definiterecommend.
