    - Neat "Cave"

It is a really cool man made "attraction" that is worth a 15-30 minute stop/exploration. We hit the Belly of The Dragon on our way to Page AZ from Panguitch Lake UT and it was a neat little "cave" to explore. It isn't incredibly large and doesn't take a long time to explore but the kids loved it (as did I) and it is a neat little stop. Plan your trip accordingly as there is no real marking of where to turn off to get to the parking lot...you just turn right off of the highway so it kind of surprises you if you aren't ready for the turn. 4. 4.0 Mammoth Cave (27 reviews)
    - Mammoth Cave
Spent 1-2 hours Caverns & Caves

This cave was very cool! Be prepared to walk hunched over & crawl in some spaces. Make sure to being headlamps. Phone lights don’t do much. I read in other reviews that this cave is limited to access certain times of the year. I am guessing they are talking about the gate. The gate was locked while I visited so we didn’t get to explore as much as we wanted to however, it was still awesome. We spent about 20 minutes here. This cave is more popular than the others & there were a lot of kids. The kids loved it. I also read there were bats but I did not see any. If you are looking for a less populated cave that’s more for adults, I would recommend Bowers Cave. See more..
  5. 4.0 Ice Cave (13 reviews)
    - Great for HOT Day!
Spent 1-2 hours Nature & Wildlife Areas • Caverns & Caves

A quick stop at the Ice Cave was great for after hiking Cascade Falls. The cave is a little challenge to get into and you use a rope to get out. It's an open hole so no exploring inside but still worth stopping and seeing. See more..

The Bates family are truly wonderful people! The cave was INCREDIBLE! It's not like cave with paved paths, it's unincorporated. The trek up to it, with 2 techie kids, we took 3 stops, but its not bad at all. Kirsten was so patient to us on the hike up and back. Gerald visited us every day and couldn't be nicer. We DID stay at the cabins and they were so fun! I would say, if you have a few of the portable, personal (ice) air conditioners, bring them. We had a fan, but it was too hot for my kids to sleep in the loft. We walked all over the place, pick up strange rocks, and just enjoying the valley We loved the warm springs several times a day! Would go back in a heart beat! And will!!! See more..
