Spent < 1 hour Antique Shops Antiques spill outside of this quaint little shop on the street corner. Larger items such as iron gates, bedframes, metal buckets, ox yokes, etc. are displayed on the covered patio to lure in the tourist to just "glance inside for a minute". Prices are extremely affordable and fair and we would have bought the oak antique foot pedal sewing machine in a heartbeat if we had our truck instead of the car when we were traveling. Bought a period lantern from the Union Pacific Railroad and an iron sculpture for wall of our cabin. The store is small but packed with exceptional, unusual and unique antiques. Loved the map of the US made from parts of old license plates from each state. You can't just stop in to glance around, you'll wind up browsing for an hour, I did.See more..

Spent < 1 hour Antique Shops My wife and I like checking out antique stores once in a while when we travel. This place looked promising from the road, in a quirky sort of way. When you enter, you press a doorbell at the front door and the proprietor, in this case a 30 something guy, opens the door for you. He was friendly and helpful. The building is a former house, and it appears that the proprietor hangs out in the "kitchen" in the back. The rest of the house is an antique and collectibles store arranged by theme for the most part. Some is just old stuff, but who knows, maybe that's the treasure you are seeking. One room upstairs had an impressive array of animal related merchandise. In the front room were a lot of porcelain dolls and carriages. I bought a figurine and the price was reasonable.See more..
