Highly recommend for a Unique experience!

We did a 1 hour tour on 4/4/2022. Our tour guide was Kitty and she was entertaining, informative, and very thoughtful. We did the 9:30am tour and it was chilly so we needed a jacket and kids even wore winter gloves. We were a group of 5 and most of us never ridden on a horse so this was a very new and fun experience. My kids thought it was so cool to ride the horses across the river. Make sure to read the instructions on parking carefully! It was nice that they allow us to drive down the private "shuttle only" road to the horses. I highly recommend this very unique experience. It was the highlight of our trip!

    Zion NP Trail Ride
Everyone in our party of seven had a great time. We stopped by a day early because we had three young non riders who were feeling anxious. The team was gracious and introduced the 7, 9, and 11 year old to some of the horses. After the ride, they were ready to go again. Our guide was informative about the history of the area, and the pictures turned out great.

    Lovely horses, beautiful trail
Comparing this with other National park riding experiences, it was a very good value: $100 for 3 hour ride. Walk with horse breaking into a trot on occasion. Steep rocky trail. I wouldn't recommend for beginners but saw a lot of apparent beginners on one hour ride ($50). Horses were gentle and responsive. Guide somewhat of a clown but he did the job they take a picture of everyone crossing the Virgin River which you can purchase ($10) or not at the end of the trip. Although the gal taking reservations said a snack would be served at the far point of the ride, the guide "never heard of it". There was water and a restroom stop at the far point. Scenery along the trail is positively spectacular. If you don't want to ride a horse, I saw hikers along this trail as well.
