Magical experience

We took the 3.5 hour Sunset Tour. Toney, our Navajo guide, took great care of us. He is SO knowledgeable. He shared names and stories about each of the monuments, answered all of our questions and gave us great photo tips along the way. At one point, Toney realized that a bad storm was coming (a summer monsoon). He calmly guided us to an alcove in a rock wall, where we could watch the storm (and the waterfalls that suddenly appeared), but stay safe and dry until the rain stopped. As we left the park, we were greeted by a clear, bright double rainbow. It was magical.

    Great Experience
We did the Tear Drop Arch tour. Tony was our guide. It was a breezy day to say the least. But, Tony made this trip so enjoyable you didnt even think about the wind. He was so gracious with his time. He took us to all the neat little hideaways. Made sure we were all able to hike to some of the spots he wanted to go. If you were not up for the hike, no problem, just hang back. So glad we pushed on.... He showed us some cave dwellings that were awesome. Tony sang two songs.....a sunrise song which was his grandmother's favorite and a traveling song. Tony knew the story behind lots of plants, he had great stories of his people. Thank you for an awesome experience!

A beautiful place and wonderful experience
So glad we chose to tour Monument Valley with a guide instead of driving it ourselves! Our tour guide Duffy took us to areas we wouldn't have been able to see on our own. He was friendly and patient and did a wonderful job of sharing his culture and the history of the area with us. I really appreciated how well he related to the kids. He got down on their level and answered all of their questions in a way that they could understand. Our 9 year old asked why the rocks were the way they were and he pulled over and used dirt and water to demonstrate erosion for us! He really went above and beyond to make the experience a memorable one. My favorite part? When we stopped under an arch and he played the flute for us. It was a beautiful moment. Highly recommend this tour company and Duffy in particular!
