Wonderful photography tours in Monument Valley
We took two excellent photo tours with Dineh Bekeyah while in Monument Valley. Both were with Harry Nez who is very personable and had wonderful stories of growing up in the valley and shared his knowledge of the Dine people, culture and language. Harry is also a wonderful photographer and had great suggestions about both composition and technical aspects of photography. The first day was a morning tour through the valley to many wonderful locations. The second day was the highlight of our trip with a late afternoon/evening/sunset trip up to Hunt's Mesa. It was quite a 4-wheel drive adventure getting to the top of the mesa and the views were spectacular. It was an amazing vantage point to over look the entire valley. We highly recommend Dine Bekeyah Tours and especially Harry Nez.

Fantastic Customer Service
We booked a Sunrise and half day tour with another tour operator and they did not show up at the prescribed 6 AM meet time. Dineh was there and called tow people before getting through to some who was going to contact the tour operator. I then saw her again and asked her to please send my phone number and name to the operator which she did. Thanks to her totally unselfish assistance we ended up having a wonderful full day tour and the tour company forgot to note the tour was supposed to start at sunrise instead of their standard 9am time for full day tours. If Dineh is this helpful to someone who is not a customer she MUST provide extraordinary service to her own customers

2 great tours - really gets you into the back country!
We went on 2 great tours with John. On the Monument Valley Tour we saw all the top formations as well as some ruins and natural arches. On the Mystery Valley Tour we saw more ruins and petroglyphs/pictographs. On both tours we enjoyed being able to get out of the tour vehicle and get fairly close to the sights. John shared his extensive knowledge of the area's history and answered all our questions about modern Navajo life as well. After taking both tours we felt like we understood past and current life in Monument Valley much better than before - would highly recommend!
