Amazing and authentic experience in Monument Valley

I was fortunate enough to enjoy a spiritual retreat and then sunset tour through Monument Valley last week and it was nothing short of spectacular. Gary and his lovely wife Dawn couldn't have been nicer. The Shaman they brought to speak to us was so learned and interesting and everyone was welcoming and open. It was a magical night and I HIGHLY recommend spending this with the team of Navajo Spirit Tours.

Amazing and Inspirational Tour of Monument Valley and Mystery Valley
We recently took a sunset tour of Monument Valley and a morning tour of Mystery Valley. If you are reading reviews and trying to decide which tour group to use, I cannot stress enough how impressed we were with Navajo Spirit Tours. This is a family run business, and they are truly invested in giving everybody the best experience possible. Their deep knowledge of the Navajo culture and surrounding area amazed us. If we could give them 100 stars, we would. We had Sean as our guide for the sunset tour of Monument Valley. The light at this time of day is spectacular and I highly recommend it. Sean has an unbelievable amount of knowledge about not only the Navajo culture but the history of Monument Valley and all the movies that were filmed here. He shared so much information about so many things and always took the time to answer all of our questions. At one spot in the tour, he played the flute for us which was such a special moment. He does a lot of backpacking and research on his own, so is a wealth of knowledge and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide for this tour. We were so fortunate to have Gary for our morning tour of Mystery Valley. Mystery Valley is very different than Monument Valley and something not to be missed. Gary’s stories and insights about the Navajo and Anasazi people were so captivating, it left us wanting more. He played the flute and the drum for us as we laid on the rocks of an arch and looked up to the sky. It was quite a spiritual experience. We could’ve spent a week with Gary and still it would not have been enough. We are already looking forward to the next time we can come back and do another tour with Navajo Spirit Tours.
