Or that some sharks lose up to 30,000 teeth in their lifetime? You can learn more about these and other amazing aquatic animals at the Greater Cleveland Aquarium. Husband and I have visited several times during this Pandemic. I feel that Hollywood & staff are going above & beyond to keep everyone healthy. Requiring masks and setting up cleaning stations is just the start. Bathrooms are extremely clean, employees cleaning machines, and turning off every other machine to help with social distancing. I read a sign that says from the hours of 7-9 in the a.m. is reserved for people who want to get out but need to be away from crowds. The staff at the OH bar is always super friendly and we seem to always leave with money. We will definitely be back soon! Thanks for giving us some excitement during these crazy times. Keep up the good work.See more..

3.5Field of Giant Corn Ears(393 reviews) - An “Oddity of Columbus” but an interesting stop Points of Interest & Landmarks
I’d wanted to see this for some time, so a visit to Columbus to see my OSU student was a perfect time. It can be a quick stop, or a longer play stop depending on your mood or energy. The stone corn is located on a flat corn-er lot and fairly easy to find with parking on site. I was surprised at the number of people there on a Sunday afternoon, but it was still easy to socially distance! It’s a whimsical stop that will have your family saying “Remember that time we saw the field of corn?” but is not something you’ll want to do every time you visit Columbus. See more..
3.5Perry's Cave(346 reviews) - Wonderful time with kids Caverns & Caves
This was the highlight of our trip for our kids. We did the gem mining, cave tour, mini golf, and maze. The cave tour is very short and felt a little underwhelming. However the gem mining was a lot of fun and you get a lot of value for the price. The package deal (multiple attractions) was well worth it for our family. The maze has a fun scavenger hunt that kept our kids occupied in the maze for awhile. Mini golf is well maintained. The staff who run the place couldn’t be nicer and more helpful. A great experience (good to know: the butterfly house is adjacent and the winery/other cave is across the street)See more..
3.5Hocking Hills Adventures(295 reviews) - Buses Full Sunday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Kayaking & Canoeing
Had a really great time kayaking! I would recommend reserving ahead if you’re going on a weekend. However, I was extremely disappointed with the COVID-19 preparations. The buses were jam packed to their capacity. Some people weren’t wearing masks. I really do think buses should be filled at half capacity, epecially in such a confined space.See more..

3.5Hollywood Gaming Mahoning Valley Racecourse(170 reviews) - Clean and well organized. Casinos All in all it was a good time. Probably less than half the machines were available due to social distancing but we had no problem finding one to play. The girl at the bar was continuously cleaning/sanitizing the bar area in between customers.See more..

A giant picnic basket! There's no Yogi or Bu-bu...but its a building constructed as a giant basket! No, you can't go in it. No, there's no souvenirs. 3.5Great Wolf Lodge(128 reviews) - Kids loved the water park! Water Parks
The water park was great!! The kids, ages 11,8,5 and 4, thoroughly enjoyed their time. All areas within the water park aside from restroom/shower area was exceptionally clean. The restroom/shower area had trash and was super slippery, which is to be expected given every coming in is wet! You just have to be extra careful not to fall. Had an extra expense that was not expected upon arrival, booked a room that was for 4-6 people, and had to pay extra for water park passes over 4 people. Room temperature was hard to regulate, bathroom was very small within the room, however the room itself was very spacious and super clean! Overall great trip to end out Christmas weekend.See more..
3.5Chocolate Museum(117 reviews) - Great eats, drinks and ice cream Spent < 1 hour Speciality Museums
The chocolate museum is a good excuse to step into air conditioning for a few minutes. Checking out the museum took about five minutes, tasted a bit of chocolate then walked next door to the Bier Garten for refreshments. Nice time.See more..
3.5Lake Logan State Park(103 reviews) - Beautiful shaded and peaceful locale for picnics or just enjoying the sites!! State Parks • Parks
Looking for a spot to enjoy a shaded, peaceful picnic lunch and came across Lake Logan. Didn't hurt that it was a beautiful sunny afternoon!! There was a covered pavilion with picnic tables, plus a few outside. People were social distancing! And you could walk down to the water to enjoy being along the shore or watch the folks on a variety of boats ride on by. Restrooms nearby too.See more..
3.5Movie Tavern(101 reviews) - I like it, but it's kind of quirky (as am I) Bars & Clubs • Theaters
Rows of office chairs on wheels in front of narrow tables before the next row of seating for dining. Could be comfy, but they need to take 1 or 2 chairs out of each row so they're not banging right up next to each other. The modern fixed, somewhat reclining, theater seats at the Lennox are more comfortable. I like the food/bar/movie concept but have never ordered anything. Previews were LOUDER THAN HAIL! the last time we were there. As promised it was only for them. Volume returned to human level for the movie. Picture quality was fine. Good staff. Convenient location to Hilliard. Ample parking. Do it.See more..
3.5Deer Creek State Park(85 reviews) - Great place to getaway from it all State Parks • Parks
We stayed in cabin 24. Nice cabin. Could have been cleaner, and the screen on the screened porch needed fixed, but overall a positive experience. Kitchen had everything we needed except a skillet (we bought a cheap one and left it in cabin). Items in kitchen included coffee maker, toaster, can opener, pots, utensils, plates etc. Cabin 21 appeared to be nicest cabin with a great view of lake. Our cabin was spacious, but no bunk beds due to it being cabin that can accommodate wheelchairs. State park lodge was fairly empty the week we went. Kids had indoor pool to themselves, we dined at restaurant one night for dinner, and we were the only ones in restaurant. The beach across the lake was busy- so we stayed on the lodge side. I would recommend this place if you need a getaway, especially if you’re concerned about COVID. Restaurant wouldn’t allow people in if they didn’t have masks on. Lots of hand sanitizer stations. Place was very rural, and was not busy at all. We will stay here again!See more..
This is a review for the Longaberger building in Newark. The now-unoccupied building of the bankrupt Longaberger company is an architecturally attractive building visible on Highway 16 in Newark. When we stopped by, the building was closed, but we drove by the building in the parking lot and enjoyed imagining all the people working in the building at one time. The building is a vivid and sad example of Change is constant, and This too shall pass. If you are in the area, certainly stop by to look at the building built in the shape of a basket.See more..
Although we left some of our money there, we had a great time. We previously left with some so it actually evened out. We met up with some family there and they also liked it. Smoke free and plenty of machines.See more..
Had dinner here tonight. I had the seafood platter with twice baked potato(no up charge, delicious asparagus(no up charge), my husband had fried perch and we were both extremely happy with our dinners and service. Definitely will return! Then we shared chocolate coconut cake for dessert-yummmmm!See more..
There wasn’t much going on with this area. I am sure COVID has much to do with it. We stopped here for a bite to eat. What a find! My hamburger was probably the best I had in a long time. In our party was a salad, cheese wedges and nachos. All were great and fresh. Recommend! See more..
Cowan Lake is small but beautiful lake It is a clean lake that doesn't allow anything over 10 horse power boats. There is ample fishing, and they rent out a variety f boats for your pleasure. I am not rating this 5 stars because there isn't but 1 restaurant around there. Lots of camping and cabins in the area though.See more..
A quieter island than its neighbor to the south, the island houses historic Civil War-era wineries.See more..
3.0Inscription Rock Petroglyphs(59 reviews) - nice plaque of something you can't see anymore Points of Interest & Landmarks
Inscription Rock Petroglyphs are markings of some early 1200 to 1600 native american carvings. They were found in 1833. The elements have removed most of what can be seen but it is quite interesting to see what they were able to uncovering and copy. It is easy to miss this site. Look for the awkward looking covering over the site. A piece of history on the opposite side of the island from the glacier grooves.See more..
3.0Ohio Station Outlets(56 reviews) - To many stores closing Sunday: 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Factory Outlets
The 312,546 square-foot outlet asset is home to a line-up consisting of national retailers including Polo, Under Armour, Gap, VF Factory Store, and American Eagle, and Ohio based retailers. Our train uses the traditional 4-4-0 wheel configuration that was used in the hay day of the railroad industry. The ride is 2 1/2 miles long which allows you to experience the thrill of being on the tracks with the sweet Ohio breeze filling the air. The outlet is situated directly off Interstate 71, the major highway that connects Columbus to Cleveland and one of only three north/south Ohio interstate roadways.See more..
3.5Mastropietro Winery(53 reviews) - Great place to relax Sunday: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Wineries & Vineyards
This a great place to relax and enjoy music and great wine. I would have given this place 5 stars if the blonde lady at the counter wasn't so unfriendly when taking our order. My husband and I were quite shocked!! I got sweet red wine and my husband got the red wine slushie. We also got cheese and crackers. Made several trips for refills. Great entertainment too. See more..
3.0Caesar Creek Flea Market(53 reviews) - It's not just big. It is REALLY big! Flea & Street Markets
At the intersection of Interstate 71 and SR 73 in west-central Ohio is one of the largest flea markets in the area. Caesar Creek Flea Market is but one of three really huge flea markets to be found inside a 15 mile triangle. The "other" two are on Interstate 75, approx. 10-12 miles West of Caesar Creek. All your favorite flea market stalls can be found here inside the main buildings, or covering about half of the huge parking lot. Come early or parking can be dicey!See more..
3.5The Christmas Ranch(51 reviews) - Need more staff Points of Interest & Landmarks
The place is nice but like everywhere they must have been short staffed. We waited almost an hour to see Santa, it wasn’t that the line was long they just weren’t letting anyone in the building. The line for the train was very long too and they make adults buy a ticket to ride with small children.See more..
We had a wonderful weekend camping at Dillon. The restrooms were very clean. The park has taken the proper measurement to protect folks during this time of COVID-19. The park is very pet friendly. Our dog was able to go everywhere with us! We went for a hike and played on the beach. Unfortunately, the beach area did have alot of trash. And the trails are very rugged. Overall, we were very happy!See more..
3.5The Boneyard- Broadview Heights(47 reviews) - At best: Average. Sunday: 11:00 AM - 12:00 AM Bars & Clubs We live by The Boneyard, so we continue to try to support local restaurants. But they continue to make it hard to do so. Drinks before dinner were Ok, but one did not come tall as asked for. Could not split flavors on 10 wing order. I hate to tell management, but all the good wing places around you do, so that is where I will go in the future. So I split flavors and they charged me for 5 wings and another +$3. My wife ordered a burger, no cheese. Burger comes out with cheese, which was quickly replaced with two well done hockey pucks. My wings were delicious. But all in all, just like the rating: Average. It could be so much better.See more..
3.5Piatt Castles(47 reviews) - Castle? Or just a nice house? Castles
The architecture was very interesting, but I was not delighted with my trip. I found the tickets to be overpriced. The information provided was like listening to my aunt recount family history about a relative that I never knew. Basically, the greatest accomplishment of the Piatt family was to build a beautiful and find a way to get others to pay for the upkeep. Since 1912 they have been offering tours. So, if you like to listen to random family history, this might be the tour for you. Understandably, the house was very musty.See more..
3.5Tar Hollow State Park(41 reviews) - Logan Trail within Tar Hollow State Park State Parks
My wife and I hiked about three miles of the Logan Trail within Tar Hollow State Park. We began under the Pine Lake Dam, off of the parking lot. The trailhead is along the forest line without any markers from the parking lot, so we had to walk around the tree line before finding the trail, but it wasn't bad. The trail from point A on the attached photo is somewhat steep. I don't believe the trail is used very often as it is quite overgrown in some areas - to five feet and higher. I am glad I wore pants and a long sleeve shirt (lightweight as heat index was 90F) as I am sure some of the plant life growing over the trail would have been poisonous. A decent trail - decent workout.See more..
The water is always freezing. This park needs updating, its the same park for 30 years. They do have batting cages, go carts and a picnic area. Its a good local place for young kids but older kids will get bored quickly. See more..
3.5Summit Mall(39 reviews) - Great Mall. Tons of restaurants & stores Spent 2-3 hours Shopping Malls
Great regional size mall with huge selection of restaurants and stores of all types. Plenty of parking. Clean. Great location. Very good destination to roam around. Easy drive from anywhere in Akron. 11/14/2019See more..
3.5Unusual Junction(38 reviews) - A neat little stop Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Speciality & Gift Shops
This place is in an old railroad station house with several railroad cars attached to it. Presently the management is working on getting the train cars refurbished and outfitted for people to eat in, or to have a gift shop in, but the restaurant in the station is a nice place to eat with a very big menu of things you can have, with a small gift shop you walk through to get to the seating area.See more..

3.0Loudonville Canoe Livery(32 reviews) - Not for families - no Covid-19 precautions, openly drunken behavior Kayaking & Canoeing
Rented 2 canoes for my family on a Saturday afternoon. River was full of inflatable tubes roped together which made it extremely hard to maneuver. Thousands of people on the river that you inevitably ended up bottle-necked which made social distancing impossible, people brought stereos on rafts so music was blasting down the whole river, open drunken behavior, loud/obnoxious swearing, signs with obscenities offering beer while objectifying women, and lots of trash (beer cans and food wrappers) in the water. No one (outside our group) was wearing masks despite stacked together in line to pay, no sanitation of oars, life vests, or boats (they were taken right off the trailer for the next group), and no masks while on the school bus back to the livery (not even by the driver.) Great if you're looking for a 21+ crazy party atmosphere. Awful if that's not your purpose.See more..
3.5Longaberger Basket Factory(31 reviews) - Apple basket has been restored! Sunday: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM Factory Tours
Sadly Longaberger is now defunct. However you can still see a few relics of their history. Frazeysburg is the home of their old homestead and they have the giant apple basket. For a while now it has been falling apart and we were expecting to see the stripped and deteriorating basket. However, we were shocked to find this beautiful black and white fully restored basket. I don’t know how did the restoration or if they are maintaining it, but this was a very pleasant side trip.See more..
A little disappointed, the course was not in as good of shape as it normally has been. Seemed to have some drainage problems or underground water line leaks. Greens rolled alright but were extremely slow. Could not complain about the price, $16 with TeeTimePass book.See more..
3.5Silverspot(29 reviews) - Very expensive, but great seats Movie Theaters
The movie experience is fantastic, huge, leather reclining seats, and a big nice screen. The popcorn there sucks though, but the restaurant food is pretty good. It is a very overpriced theatre, but sometimes you should treat yourself to something nice!See more..
3.0Canal Fulton Canoe Livery(29 reviews) - All good until the end... Sunday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Gear Rentals
Got here right as they opened. It seems that kayaking is more popular than canoeing but we had no reservation and secured a canoe to do the 6 mile trip. They were prompt in checking us in and getting us onto the water. The river was quiet at that point and rather shallow & despite quite a few fallen trees in the water it was easy to navigate. We had a GPS watch and the mileage was short of 6 miles but so be it. We were only the 2nd canoe out & once we got to the takeout station we had to wait quite a long time for the van to come & pick us up. Not sure why the wait. The personnel seemed pleasant enough but the van was in poor shape. 2 of the seat cushions had large rips/foam coming out and looked like you could fall through the seat.See more..
3.5Windmill Farm Market(27 reviews) - local farm market Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Farms
there are a lot of different farm products to be purchased...... plus there is a playground area to keep small children entairned which is niceSee more..
We attend a yearly robotics competition at the Nutter Center. It is an older structure, probably sufficient for these competitions or a convention. Given the sound quality at this event is mediocre, I'm not sure a concert would be pleasing. We never sit in stands--seats are uncomfortable. We either bring our own folding chairs or use chairs from inside the venue. Since this is a smaller venue, the center is sufficient and we don't experience high volume traffic or excessive crowds. I can see where a larger venue would bring traffic jams and congestion.See more..
Enjoyed the food, friendly and quick service. Visited along with a family of 4 others and although there were a fair amount of guests being served, our orders were taken quickly and food arrived within a half hour of being placed. Excellent service and upbeat personnel/servers. See more..
In Casey IL there is a plethora of World’s Largest.... So on the way we wanted to see the Giant Soup Can in Napoleon OH. To be honest I did not realize that it is just one of their tanks painted like the label. The plant is HUGE... and if we had had more time we would have liked to have seen if there was a tour. There is a visitors entrance, but we are not sure whether or not they provide tours. Will have to check it out the next time we are near Napoleon. Unless they have tours of the plant, I wouldn’t recommend going too far out of your way to see this tank.See more..
I like the broccoli cheddar bites. The fries are the best in town. The only thing I've had there I didn't like was the steak..........terrible. Drinks are made goodSee more..
Another nice spot in C Falls. We parked on the street and walked over. Parking is 1.00 an hour. If Saturday you can park in the bank parking lot. Flight is 12.00 for 5 4 oz pours. We really like the dragons juice box, the inverted pineapple, and the fog hazy ipa. We really need to go back to all these great breweries to try the food.See more..
