4.0Boston Store Visitor Center(94 reviews) - Pit stop Sunday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Visitor Centers
This is across the river from the Boston Visitor Center. Walk across the bridge & keep walking a few hundred feet to the store. There's some information boards nearby & across the street. This store has ice cream, snacks, drinks & information. The bathrooms are in a building in the back. Just be careful. On one side of the store is the towpath. People are whizzing along without regard for pedestrians. We saw some near misses while eating our ice cream on the porch.See more..
For first time visitors to the Hocking Hills, this is a must-do stop. The staff was so helpful and informative, especially at this time since the state parks had been closed due to the coronavirus so not everything was yet open. We got a map marked with the open sites and suggestions on what to do first. Of course, their info racks were crammed full with brochures and booklets that gave us some ideas on where to eat and what else to see while in the area. During these COVID-19 times, they are practicing social distancing and wearing masks. Thank you!See more..

3.0Hunt House Visitor Center(4 reviews) - It's ok Spent < 1 hour Visitor Centers • Points of Interest & Landmarks
This is .2 miles past the Szalays Sweet Corn Farm. Very congested area! The parking lot for Hunt House is on the left side of the road. Walk across to see the house. Be very careful - cars & bikes are everywhere! The tow path runs along side it & people access it from the parking lot. Hunt House is a very small house with a barn & outhouse. The house was open on the Friday afternoon we visited. There were no volunteers or rangers staffing it. Small display area with some kid activities. A goofy looking stuffed coyote & beaver. There's lots of information & some free posters. The bathrooms are located in the barn. Worth a look, but I wouldn't go out of my way if you're short on time.See more..
