The Sorg Opera House, built in 1891, offers a well-presented concert series each year. It is a fantastic Opera House! Middletown, where the Sorg is located, is the smallest city in the country to host a residential opera company. For a quality opera experience, you cannot beat the Sorg Opera Company. See more..

We drove three hours from Dayton Ohio area on Dec 5th to see T Graham Brown. We were pleased to also had the opportunity to see the Ohio Valley Opry staff performers. The area of McConnelsville is very lucky to have such a talented group of people performing there. I wish we had something similar in our area. My wife is a huge fan of T Graham Brown and has always wanted to see him in person. He did not disappoint at all. He sang all of his hits plus some Christmas tunes. He spoke between songs and acted just like he does when we watch him on RFD. My wife was very excited to meet him after the show and have her picture taken with him. This is an event she will not soon forget. The long drive in the dense fog was very worth while. We look forward to again visiting the Ohio Valley Opry to see other grand Old Opry Stars. See more..

A variety of musical venues offered in this quaint historical village on the weekends at very affordable prices. The host/hostess are very informative and accommodating. Parking is easy accessible. Close by attractions includes some antique shops, the working Clifton Mill that has a restaurant and Clifton Gorge for hiking. My favorite kind of place! See more..
