I reviewed this spa 2 years ago after having been a dozen times. At this point I’ve probably been to the Woodhouse 3x that and I felt compelled to re-review after my last 2 visits. The last 2 times I went, once for manicure and once for 80 min deep tissue were not up to the standards I had previously experienced. The services were not bad, but just “fine.” Unfortunately I’m no longer going to pay those prices and drive 45 min out of my way for an average experience. Also, there is no steam room or sauna or way to eat there so you really are just going for an appointment not an experience. In my opinion the Woodhouse is an average spa in the Columbus area that I used to think was exceptional.See more..

I received a spa treatment as a Christmas gift, a half day of relaxation. Can anyone explain to me where service people get the idea they're doing you a favor. The individual people who did my massage, facial etc. were fine. However, the overall attitude here and it starts at the front desk is ridiculous. Service should be provided graciously, not trying to make people feel like they are an imposition. They need some serious training here and the employee should visit a real spa to see how it's done.See more..

The Tranquility Room, where you await your therapist, had a great atmosphere with comfy chairs, dim lighting, and peaceful music. However, I just think that's a normal part of the treatment, and not something Allvera did incorrectly.
