We spent about 4 hours in this antique mall. There was lots of variety! The prices varied and we did find some of our specific collectibles at very good prices. What was most impressive was that there was lots of staff around to help open cases AND they had the correct keys...not typical in the antique malls we have been to. Place is huge! Loved the various selections of stuff, everything from antiques to homemade wood tables. Like anywhere some stuff is crazy priced and others are deals, you just need to put the time in and look around. We saw people walked around with entire carts full of stuff. Interesting little stop, definitely worth it if you get rained out of your outdoor activities - or need a bit of a break from the sun. My wife and I usually stop by after visiting the Heart of Ohio Antique Mall. This one is a lot smaller by comparison, but still a good size and worth a stop. Sometimes, you hit a bonanza of items you're interested in. My wife is always on the lookout for Disney items. They had a huge selection during our visit. Mostly in the glass case aisles. I usually look for antiques to either use or display in my woodworking shop. I found a couple items, as well. We usually stop in at least once each year. The Village Square Antiques is a delightful shop in charming Lodi. I was passing through after the snow storm and decided to stop and shoot some photos of the snow covered park across the street. I noticed Village Square Antiques. The screen door invited me in to have a look. It seems like a small shop but there are three huge rooms that are connected together. It’s like a little antique mall. There is everything you can imagine under this roof - Barbies, Pyrex, books, albums, clothes, vintage jewelry, tins, toys, musical instruments, old photographs, a wide variety of things to browse. It is so warm inside too. It was 34 outside and it was great coming in and getting warm. If this place had not had so many great collectibles to go through I would have rated it much lower. There were many narrow walkways to go through. Their floors in some places were also buckled (made it hard to walk as it threw you off balance), uneven where two different materials came together (a serious tripping hazard), and cracked. There was also a lot of cluttered areas. In spite of the terrible floors we did find a few items to bring home with us. There is a Micro Brewery in town with a mini farm and Air BnB, A great Bakery that was recommended and we were happy we stopped. I found this little gem while driving through Proctorville. Cleo's Attic specializes in Vintage and Antique GLASSWARE -- think of Depression Glass and Fenton Glass. The store is well designed with wide aisles and all the glass divided by colour. There is a huge selection and the gentleman who was there when I shopped was very informed about glassware and answered my questions. Overall, I was very pleased. My only suggestion would be that they keep boxes and wrapping paper/bubble wrap/styrofoam peanuts on hand for packing purchases.See more..
