Such a beautiful bridge and great way to cross to Cincinnati on foot. Bridge is under construction so it’s closed off to vehicles but still open to pedestrians. I highly recommend enjoying the Covington side first before getting on the bridge and looking at the murals and learning about the bridge’s history. See more..
This bridge's design is intriguing and I wish the city designated parking areas for people who want to walk on it. We found unofficial places to pull in close to the east and west ends of the Y, the former next to the falls. FYI, the Pottery in Place was not in place on the west end.See more..

4.0Everett Covered Bridge(62 reviews) - An Historic Covered Bridge Spent < 1 hour Points of Interest & Landmarks • Bridges
CVNP is such a diverse park with so many different signature spots and one of those is the covered bridge in Everett. As many have said this attraction has its own parking lot and short path to the bridge over the river. You can get good pictures of the bridge from either landing side; however, the best pictures are from the river which can be reach through a short scamper in the woods. The bridge was built in the late 19th Century after a death from someone trying to ford the creek. Traffic is no longer allow. However, you can cross via foot, bike or horse. Covered bridges are so neat to see; I am glad they were able to keep this as a part of the national park.See more..
4.5Smolen-Gulf Bridge(61 reviews) - Longest covered bridge in US Points of Interest & Landmarks • Bridges
Wanted to show our grandson the longest covered bridge in the US. It was a beautiful day to visit. We crossed the bridge and then went to the bottom of the bridge and took a short hike. Wonderful when you can teach youth while also having an enjoyable time.See more..
Learning that Felix Fryman restored the bridge in the 1970s when he was nearly 70! He put on a new roof and restored much of the side panels and cleaned up graffiti and fire damage from vandals. Had it not been for his timely intervention, the bridge would certainly have collapsed by now. The same can't be said for the Fryman family farm, just across 4 mile creek from the bridge on Morning Sun road. Miami University now owns the farm and has let the majestic dairy barn collapse and THE 1840s FARM HOUSE is near ruin as well along with other historic buildings. Miami has a duty to preserve this incomparable historic landmark. Let the University know that you won't stand for their further negligence.See more..
I love old covered bridges so we made it a point to find this one! This bridge spans the Grand River and is the third longest covered bridge in Ohio! 4.5Veteran's Glass City Skyway(26 reviews) - A great view of the Maumee River and Toledo, Ohio Spent < 1 hour Points of Interest & Landmarks • Bridges
This is a very interesting looking bridge and is high enough over the river that lake freighters easily pass underneath. A great view of the area. I understand that you must be careful in the winter as ice can accumulate on the overhead cables and on occasion have dropped on automobiles. Not sure if this problem has been corrected. See more..
The Eldean Covered Bridge is a historic covered bridge spanning the Great Miami River in Miami County, Ohio north of Troy. Built in 1860, it is one of the nation's finest surviving examples of a Long truss, patented in 1830 by engineer Stephen H. Long. At 224 feet (68 m) in length for its two spans, it is the longest surviving example of its type. It is located in a park with a picnic shelter️♿️See more..

We had fun trying to find this bridge. We eventually saw a sign saying: "Bridge 1 Mile Ahead". Exactly one mile later we found it dimly as it was hiding between plants and trees. We persevered and were able to enter it. The covered bridge was quite long. We stopped nearby the covered bridge and took some pictures, that showed its real colors. I enjoyed this detective trek of finding this covered bridge. We had fun and it was a worthwhile endeavor!See more..

My wife and I visited eight covered bridges on Friday, 3 Jun 22. This was the first of the eight. Each have similarities, yet each also have unique design variations. We were able to visit all the covered bridges in the area. While at Olin's a gentleman (who it turns out is part of the Olin family, that's pretty cool) offered maps of the area and let us know that the covered bridge museum just across the bridge happened to be open this day. A quaint little collection of covered bridge nostalgia, not big, not fancy but very glad we took the time to visit.See more..

4.5Station Road Bridge(2 reviews) - My Favorite Place in Cuyahoga Valley National Park Bridges
Station Road Bridge is a bike/pedestrian bridge over the Cuyahoga River where the Brecksville Reservation and CVNP come together near the train station. While this is a nice bridge, it is the views of the barreled arch bridge of Chippewa Road. This is a symbol for the park and for me the most beautiful space in CVNP. We crossed the bridge an walked the towpath trail under the big bridge. We also spent several minutes here looking at fish under the bridge in the crystal clear Cuyahoga. Sitting here it was hard to believe that you still can't swim or fish. However, the progress made in environmental restoration here in Cuyahoga Valley National Park is impressive and hopeful. In addition at the edge of the parking lot, the wildflowers were simply amazing. For me this is the best place to come in the park.See more..
