Was our first time here to see a concert and we liked everything about this venue. We had floor seats by the stage and the seats we comfortable and there was plenty of room, unlike many other venues who cram you in. Plenty of concessions, clean restrooms, and helpful workers. The parking is also super close with lots of spots available, also it is included with the price of the ticket. Don’t have anything bad to say about this venue. See more..

  4. 4.5 Paul Green's Trumpet in the Land (27 reviews)

Paul Green's Trumpet in the Land image
We were visiting the area and noticed this outdoor drama. Paul Green also wrote The Lost Colony which is produced in North Carolina (where we are from). You get a great history lesson of the area. The acting is good, singing and special effects. The amphitheater is pretty good size, but not well attended. We went on Tuesday night when the seats were half price. Down side is there are no refunds for rain or other inclement weather. The end of the drama gets a bit graphic and may not be suitable for younger children. We enjoyed the drama and very glad we went. See more..

  9. 5.0 Fur Peace Ranch (12 reviews)
    - Like going to a friends house to listen to some really good guitar playing friends!

    Fur Peace Ranch image
I visited the Ranch for the first time to see Tom Rush in concert. The venue is fantastic no matter who the performer might be. Tranquil setting and intimate performance hall with about 200 seats. It's not as desolate as I was concerned about. Good roads, easy to find using GPS, with no problem returning to an Athens hotel after the concert. The personal touch made my whole experience better. Everyone there was friendly and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. I was greeted by Ranch manager John at the gate when I arrived. (No tickets are issued; your name is a list.) He spoke to me by name and said they were expecting me. Amazingly, he also called me by name on my way out! You never get this kind of service from the national concert promoters! I will be back! 12. 5.0 Holland theater (6 reviews)
    - Absolutely unexpectedly BEAUTIFUL restored theater!!!! Great acoustics!
    Theatre & Performances
    Holland theater image
I’ve been to the Holland in November 2021 and Nov 2022 for Todd Snider concerts. The Holland is absolutely now my favorite concert venue. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but inside you’re transferred to an “immersive atmosphere city in Holland”! There are huge Dutch houses on the sides, windmills that actually rotate (but they have to turn them off for concerts due to the noise), stars on the ceiling that twinkle behind clouds that drift across the night sky. Really cool stuff for Bellefontaine, Ohio! The acoustics are phenomenal (of course I was in the first 3 rows). Excellent place for a concert. The small staff are very friendly, helpful and want to tell you the history of the theater. It’s interesting. Listen to them. The staff at the small bar are hard working but a Todd Snider audience swamps ‘em!  Time your bathroom and beer runs accordingly! BTW don’t count on Uber in town. See more..

    - Theater Experience Great!
    Theatre & Performances
We visited this theater for the first time while visiting family. Saw The Wizard of Oz. It was fantastic. Well worth the price of $13.00 (adult ticket). The auditorium was impressive. Individual moveable seats and a long table in front of each row of seats for eating snacks. Does not hold a whole lot of people, so get your reservations early online. Was very impressed! See more..
