4.5Winton Woods Park(151 reviews) - Country feeling in the midst of a city Bodies of Water • Parks • Playgrounds
This campground is so convenient to downtown and suburban Cincinatti. We had full hook ups . The setting was lovely and friendly. It was hard to believe we were in the middle of an urban area. It fills up fast and people reserve their favorite spots. We moved our trailer twice within the park and they were accommodating even though we reserved the day before arriving.See more..
4.5Summit Park(94 reviews) - Best kids park in northern Cincinnati! Spent 1-2 hours Parks • Playgrounds
Love this park. We were here for a birthday party that was held in one of the reserved rooms by the tower. Even though it was cold and snowing, the kids had a great time playing on the various playgrounds and ice skating with breaks in between for indoor games, pizza, and cake. Even had hot chocolate for sale at the restaurant next to the ice rink. Also, the ice rink rents modern skates with “ski boot-type” closures that fit very securely for little ankle, and they also have little carts you can push around if your child (or you!) do not feel stable on the ice. I really cannot say enough about how great this park has turned out to be! My kids (8 and 12) love it.See more..
A nice place for young children from toddlers up to the age of 11. There is free entry for adults and we just paid $10 for a child above 3 years. While the children play, the elders can watch and also buy drinks/ fast food from the pizzeria inside. Already there was an ongoing birthday party and the inflatable area was also reserved for a family group. The lively environment coupled with the rush of parents and children spoke high of the valuable contribution such an attractive place has offered. All praise to the management.See more..

4.5Brookside Park(30 reviews) - Excellent public park Spent 1-2 hours Parks • Playgrounds
Brookside Park is a wonderful testament to the dedication and commitment of Ashland, Ohio and its government leaders to open public spaces. Brookside demonstrates to an outsider like Cherry Wonderdog that Ashland is a place worth visiting and, perhaps, calling home. Between the pond, park benches, double swings, pools, tennis courts, mini-golf, ice-cream stands, and walking spaces in-between, Brookside feels like the place to be. There are swans in the water, kids playing, seniors sitting, and athletes doing their daily regimen to stay in shape. All of these things are made possible, or made more enjoyable, by this new area that allows people to enjoy nature in their own backyard.See more..

The Dublin Irish Festival is held in this park each year, the first weekend in August. You can see dogs herding, have an Irish whiskey sampling or learn about Irish culture and history. Hands on demonstrations to learn how to tat, make chain mail or make soda bread. The little ones can spend hours in the children's area, not to mention the playgrounds. This is a very large popular park and is used year round. Teens will like the skate park too. This historical cottage park takes you back in time. The Victorian accents and characters of each cottage is quite intriguing. The sidewalks are wide and the walk is so peaceful through the cottages. Park is open April 1st through November 1st. Best time to visit is during Chatauqua Days, 2nd weekend of July, where the historical celebration brings many vendors and music venues. The park hosts many different musicians throughout the season at the outdoor auditorium and several times hosts weddings. It truly is a romantic, peaceful place to visit. 5.0Fort Island / Griffiths Park(5 reviews) - Fantastic Park! Spent 1-2 hours Parks • Playgrounds This is a fantastic park for those with children and those without children. The combined park sits on around 60 acres, much of it wetlands. There is an elevated boardwalk and paved trails to walk through the park and keep you above the water-logged portions of the park (unless there have been very heavy rains). I found the area very peaceful to walk through. If you're looking for more excitement, the park also has basketball and tennis courts. There is a large playground for children and off the parking lot to the playground is the Learning Resource Center, which I have not visited yet. There is supposed to be educational displays and some small animals inside the center.See more..

4.5Blue Ash Nature Park(4 reviews) - Small but mighty Sunday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent < 1 hour Parks • Playgrounds This is a great option for gatherings even though it isn't that big a park. There are multiple covered shelters available to reserve and multiple playgrounds situated next to the shelters. This means adults can chill in the shelter while kids play (within sight) at the playground. There is also a short nature trail through the forested area, which is a nice option to have. Under the bridge, you can do some creeking. There are two parking lots to allow you to park close to your shelter, too. If it's your thing, there are multiple Pokemon Go gyms and Poke-stops on the property (also Wizards Unite and Ingress).See more..

3.5Phelps Acre Park(4 reviews) - A Play Area for your Children after Visiting Inniswood Metro Garden Spent < 1 hour Playgrounds
If you approach Inniswood Metro Garden from the south, you will pass right by this charming little park. It is on the corner of a busy intersection and only has parking for about four cars. Calling it an acre may be an exaggeration. The positives for this include: it is free - it is near Inniswood which is great if you have children to need to play after visiting the Metro Garden. The play area can accommodate just a few children. The park includes to little four-seat picnic tables. Negatives are its size and parking.See more..
3.5East Granville Road Park(3 reviews) - Little neighborhood park on 161 east of Worthington Parks • Playgrounds
I used to live in a house on Plymouth St. that backed up to this little park, and my dogs would escape here. Now I jog by on the way back from Rush Creek, a little green and woods space just east of 161 and High. It's almost 8 acres with a playground, small kids' play area, shelter house, drinking fountain and picnic tables. It contains the Moses Wright Nature Area, a little woodland with trails. The land belonged to Worthington lawyer and Judge James Wright and his son Moses Wright.See more..

My parents brought us here so the last ds could get out some energy. It's a very nice park with lots of things to do, from a wooded walking trail that uses public library books to tell stories along the way, to a paved sidewalk trail around the field, a playground, picnic shelter, a huge soccer field, and a little dog pen or toddler area. There are enclosed bathrooms too. Big gravel parking lot that is paved at the beginning, but isn't marked going further back. We even saw deer running around.
