  1. 4.5 Brandywine Falls (391 reviews)
    - One of the Stars of the Park

The falls are spectacular, particularly when the river is running high. The boardwalk leading to several vantage points is easy to navigate and takes you along a beautiful stone ledge. If you are visiting the park this is a must do activity. It does get crowded midday and during peak season, so early in the day and late in the day may be when you want to plan your visit. The parking lot fills quickly. See more..
  2. 4.5 Chagrin Waterfalls (232 reviews)
    - Pretty Falls, worth a trip

Unfortunately Google maps took us to the wrong spot for Chagrin Falls, to actually see the actual falls. So we had to ask somebody when we got into the center of the little tiny town of Chagrin Falls, which was quite quaint and set up in a square fashion with a little gazebo in the middle of the main area. The actual pretty side of the Falls is in the middle of town, the signage isn’t the greatest but you’ll have to ask somebody to point you in the right direction. There is quite a number of stairs that go down to the bottom of the fall so that you can get a good vantage point of it. The stairs are accessible near a popcorn store which is also quite quaint to go into. There’s also a small park above the falls on the street and when you go to that little park you’ll see the other side of the falls which is more of the non-pretty falls. It’s a cute little town with cute little shops but they were not open on a Sunday other than the Yours Truly restaurant and a little popcorn store. See more..

    - Nice place to walk and see nature

Beautiful walk along the rim of the gorge that includes views of the creek, water falls, and rock cliffs. The falls are beautiful if you can get a good view of them with all the trees. We enjoyed our walk from the parking lot across the bridge at the upper falls along the rim to the cemetery and back. Some really old grave stones in the cemetery dating back to the 1800’s. We visit these falls once a year at least. We tend to go in the spring or early summer when the falls are at their fullest. They are very pretty. We usually bring our wellies to creek as well. There are trails at the parking lot across the road and trails away from the falls going down to the river or up to the rocks. In the winter, the park system lights up the paths for a night hike. 5. 4.5 Great Falls of Tinkers Creek (12 reviews)
    - Beautiful Waterfall

These may have been my favorite falls of the Cleveland area. While they are not as tall as others like Brandywine, we happened to visit after a very heavy rain so the volume was impressive. Again, the Greater Cleveland has many great waterfalls and Bedford Reserve is one of its prettiest parks. I highly recommend you visit this waterfall where you can hear the roar and feel the mist after a heavy rain. See more..
  6. 4.0 Ludlow Falls (8 reviews)
    - Hidden Waterfall

We took a wrong turn and ended up going South on 75. I saw the sign for Ludlow Falls and wanted to find them! The google maps didn’t do a good job of getting us there. If you search the Ludlow Falls Fire Station, the fallsare hidden under the bridge. The falls are beautiful! There are no guardrails or any safety features so be careful with children. See more..
  7. 4.5 Cascade Park (7 reviews)
    - Park with Nice Facilities & Impressive Waterfall

    Cascade Park image
Visiting on a surprisingly nice Easter Sunday, we entered the park through the main entrance off of Furnace St (other entrances are from West River Rd and Washington Ave with a parking lot on Lake Ave near North St to view the East Falls) and found ample parking with excellent facilities that included a large playground, restrooms, reservable shelter and nature center (closed during our visit) along with the trailhead to the West Falls, the reason for our visit. The trail to the falls is about 0.4 miles (0.6k) roundtrip as it passes by the Black River, over a combination of pavement, dirt and rock, to the West Falls which are much more impressive than we had imagined. A great way and place to spend some time outdoors on a nice day. See more..

    - Beautiful!

I was pleasantly suprised when I walked down the steps and saw the waterfall. Such a beautiful and peaceful waterfall hidden in a small town. It wasn't until I was pulling out that I saw the private property sign. Still worth the trip. There is a comment in the reviews or questions where it is said that it is ok to visit. So if you have the time and are in the area it is a beautiful waterfall. Check it out! See more..
  9. 4.5 Paine Falls Park (2 reviews)
    - Good for a quick picture stop - good view of the falls

    Paine Falls Park image
I stumbled onto Paine Falls Park while visiting some of the other parks in the area. I visited on a rainy Wednesday afternoon in late October. The rain had the river up so there was a lot of volume going over the falls. There is an area to view the falls at the same level as the parking lot, but there are a lot of trees in the way…although the leaves will be gone in a couple of weeks. There is a short trail to a lower look at the falls which is much better, but there are two fairly steep sets of stairs to climb and they were slippery when they were wet. The is an area to rest in between the steps. Good for a quick picture stop…there are no trails. See more..
  10. 5.0 Berea Falls Scenic Overlook (2 reviews)
    - A walk in Berea
    Waterfalls
My husband and I wanted to show our granddaughter part of Berea, where water runs right behind some condos. We walked over a small bridge, and viewed the beautiful falls and stream behind the buildings. It's hard to believe that people can live safely so near the water. There is also a beautiful park and Coe Lake, where we walked with our granddaughter. Berea is a beautiful place to visit and live. See more..

    Stanford Trail image
This trailhead is found at the parking lot for the Stanford House in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The lot is located behind the barn. The trail is muddy for a good portion & icy in others. It is hilly with steps in areas. You can access a trail to Brandywine Falls at the far end. The scenery is wooded & you pass a creek & walk along the valley. You can take a short hike to a pond & there is a path that loops around the pond. See more..
