My boyfriend and I had a Groupon for the tour. We learned all about the family history of distilling at the Staley Farm. The owners did the tour so we experienced the passion and love that's gone into reviving the Staley Family tradition post-Prohibition. We stopped in last night ostensibly to see what this place was.....met the owners......did a tasting....and bought a super bottle of their gin!!!! It's a cool place and it was fun to talk with knowledgable people. I'm a bourbon collector but their bourbons were not quite ready as the labels were lagging behind their production....they will be having their bourbons for sale soon...but I got a taste of them anyway!!!!!....thanks to the owner!!!!!!! The Gin was actually super-excellent (I'm a Hendricks Gin guy) but the juniper and blueberry came through with this gin. They have their cool version of Moonshine, and also vodka and rum...... I liked them all and it's just so cool to taste endemic versions of these liquors....Galion is lucky to have this place!!!! Good luck with it and we will be back!!!!!!!!See more..
