My mommy was a librarian so we always have to drop by when we visit a new city. This one was enormous. In the central atrium that had a very nice art display of various photos from around the city. You can go up to the 10th floor and see great views of the city too.See more..

I just returned from a Nancy Drew convention at the Toledo main library and am amazed at this wonderful library and their staff. They went out of their way with a photo booth, scavenger hunt throughout the library and so much more. They have the Jennifer Fisher Nancy collection in a special room. Their gift shop had lovely locally made items! It’s a wonderful place for children also.See more..

4.0Dr. Earl Sloan Library(1 review) - Interesting library and wonderful librarian full of town and area history Spent 1-2 hours Libraries Over the summer we made a trip into Zanesfiled to see the Ebenezer Zane Cabin. As we drove in, we passed the library. The structure of the library was very interesting and after jumping out of the car for about 5 minutes to see the cabin, we swung back around and parked in front of the library to check it out. We weren't disappointed. The library houses some interesting local history; including Dr. Eric Sloan (Sloan's liniment can still be purchased) and Ebenezer Zane. There are some beautiful paintings and antique clocks as well. The librarian was wonderful to talk to and interacted with us for a long time. It was a very memorable stop. I wouldn't recommend driving into Zanesfield to spend an action packed day, but if you go through the town, stop at the library and talk to the librarian about their history collections and visit. I hear the ice cream a couple doors down is excellent.See more..
