I spotted the Cathedral as we were leaving Toledo to head south. It is an amazing architectural gem on a beautiful street. I was glad I stopped to look around and savour this magnificent place of worship. A place to enjoy some quality alone time and appreciate our life and remember those dear ones who have passed. Regardless of your religion, beliefs or lack of beliefs you always find peace in places of worship. See more..
My wife and I were visiting Marietta from out of state for other reasons and stumbled upon this church whose beauty is jaw-dropping. You will appreciate it regardless of your religious affiliation. TIP: If you can, come in the morning on a sunny day. The light shining through the huge stained-glass windows brings life to this historic site. See more..

This is the most miraculous shrine I have ever visited as a Roman Catholic. If you have the faith you will be definitely cured in the Holy Bath. Every Roman Catholic should visit this mother Mary's Shrine. This is a living Heaven.See more..
The mosaics are stunning. Peaceful, serene setting. Beautiful shrine, that doesn't need an amusement park to be revered and enjoyed. See more..
5.0National Shrine of St. Dymphna(6 reviews) - SPECTACULAR! Spent 1-2 hours Points of Interest & Landmarks • Religious Sites • Churches & Cathedrals
Can't say enough of how amazing and beautiful this church/shrine is. Worth a drive to it, and stop in the gift shop as well. Want to give an extra thanks to MARY at the shop who literally stayed late to take my Sis and I through the church/shrine after we had just come from the Cleveland Clinic...so as you can imagine, it was an emotional stop for us. Thanks again Mary, and God bless you all for this spectacular site!See more..

5.0St John's Catholic Church(1 review) - St John's the Evangelist is located on outskirts of Wapak in Fryburg Religious Sites • Churches & Cathedrals St John's is a Catholic church which has only one mass 8:30AM on Sunday. This is a very small community church but decorations may amaze you. Fr Lawrence J Tebbe was a CPPS priest who was in charge of the church in the 1930's. He did not only paintings in church but also dabbled in wood working and laying brick. The painting in the church are murals with hand painted trim around windows and doors. The paintings remind me of WPA style of painting but with an ethereal feel. It won't take more than 20 minutes for a visit, but to my mind seeing the church is worth it.See more..
5.0Saint John XXIII Catholic Church(1 review) - Beautiful Roman Catholic Church with Services Religious Sites • Churches & Cathedrals This is a new church which was completed in Oct 2019. It is the one which our daughter's family goes for Mass as well as other events. It is very modern with beautiful sculptures. The Sculptor also did statues for the Vatican. Fellowship is very high for both members and people stopping by. We have always enjoyed Mass at this place with great sermons and fantastic music. Unfortunately the music is so good that sometimes instead of joining in, you want to just listen and enjoy God's songs.See more..
