The salesman down stairs was very helpful! Very knowledgeful and went way out of his way to help me find a shell holder for my RCBS hand primer. I found the place well organized, with a good focus on safety for everyone in that building. The Range Marshal was very patient with first timers, and willing to share his experience and knowledge of the weapons used. Although my son and I were rookies, and only went to experience how a gun, long and short barreled, handled and felt when pulling the trigger, our opinion on owning and using weapons, and how the law on weapons in our home country, The Netherlands, has not changed. It differs from the USA, but I think, shooting ranges, are a good and controlled way that should/could lead to a good understanding on the use, and hopefully will lead to a gun free society in the future.See more..

Our only other recent experience at ranges have been at one in Brunswick (OH) and an outdoor range in Las Vegas. Shooters is clean, staff are professional and helpful -- someday perhaps I'll rent one of the many guns they have available and try out a different one. Two of us rented a space for $30 -- and you can stay as long as you'd like. We're retired so we go during the day during the week (usually late morning) and it's never been crowded so far. Perhaps will change once winter sets in.See more..

Stopped in with my two girls. The owner Rich had my girls shooting Bows like pros. The cost was so very low. An hour of shooting for 5 dollars and rental bows are available to see if you like it before you buy. We will be regulars at this great Elyria business. Staff is friendly and they are very serious about safety. They have a training video if you’ve never shot there before and also informative range officers on duty. They help in any way you need. It’s all around a nice place to shoot. If you don’t have your own gun you can rent one there, but if you rent you have to buy ammo from them. I’ll definitely be heading back soon. I'm not a hunter, but I did go here with my brother-in-law to get pheasants for our Christmas dinner. It was a fascinating experience, and one that is probably outstanding if you do hunt. They gave us a guide and a pointer dog who worked the fields and got us to look in the right places. We ended up with five pheasants and two woodcocks for our 2-3 hours on the premises. The folks who run the place do a very nice job and take care of all the details, right down to cleaning the birds and preparing them for cooking. Our guide was professional and friendly. If I was a hunter, I would go back there for more in the future.See more..
