  1. 5.0 Glacier Raft Company (4.710 reviews)
    - Beautiful Scenery, Fantastic Guide
    Saturday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing • Boat Tours • Fishing Charters & Tours • Kayaking & Canoeing
    Glacier Raft Company image
Our family had a wonderful time on our half day whitewater adventure. The scenery was beautiful and we saw a bald eagle during the trip. The rapids were exciting for both my 14 and 9 year old sons. The best part of our day was our guide Dom. He kept the ride interesting with his knowledge of the area and funny stories of past rafting experiences. Dom engaged with every person on the boat and made sure every one was comfortable and safe. My son fell out of the raft at one point and Dom had him back in the boat before I realized he had gone over! Overall, a great day and I would highly recommend Glacier Raft to anyone looking for a fun experience on the water. See more..

Family of 5 adult siblings, spouses & significant other. “Yellowstone” vacation! We did zip & dip pkg. & were with Anna & Cassidy in the 10:00 zip line. Then hung out & had a sandwich waityfoe the raft trip with Jaysie(4 of us) & Clara(5). The water level was low so it was very rocky making it even more exciting! All of our guides made it a super fun experience. They had 3 bus loads going at 1:00 & did a pretty good job of getting us all on a raft in a timely manner. The trip was lots of fun & highly recommended! See more..
  4. 5.0 Glacier Guides and Montana Raft (2.438 reviews)
    - Fun, safe and very memorable!
Saturday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing • Bike Tours • Fishing Charters & Tours • Gear Rentals • Hiking & Camping Tours
Glacier Guides and Montana Raft image
Montana is one of the smaller rafting companies and it shows in their personalized service. We had Greyson as our guide for both a half day scenic and half day whitewater and he was outstanding. He connected with both the kids and the adults, to the point we requested him for our second outing. The gear is good and the process is efficient. The whitewater is the better of the tours for our family but both were fun. I recommend springing for the private tour if you have 6 or more people. For 8 people it’s a no brained to do the private tour. See more..
  5. 5.0 Geyser Whitewater Expeditions (1.843 reviews)
    - Fun and well run!
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing
    Geyser Whitewater Expeditions image
Great experience. I was a 1st-timer and they were very clear with verbal instructions about the process, from signing in/paying to getting our gear and on the bus to get to the launch site. Our "on-ramper" had a great sense of humor, but was also very organized with his delivery...took most of the anxiety out of the process, making it a much more enjoyable experience. Our guide was very experienced and also very clear with his instructions, once we boarded the raft. I would highly recommend Geyser...my only wish would be that the Gallatin River was running a bit faster, but of course, they have no control over that. Otherwise, this is your place! See more..
  6. 5.0 Wild West Rafting (1.533 reviews)
    - Excellent experience!

    Wild West Rafting image
My wife and I booked a half day whitewater rafting trip as part of our weekend anniversary trip to Yellowstone National Park. Absolutely zero complains from us! The guys and gals of Wild West Rafting know exactly how to show you an awesome time on the river. Professional and experienced guides is what you pay for, but they also throw in some jokes and stories throughout the day to keep you entertained lol. Big shout out to our guide, Andrew, for making this part of our trip so memorable for my wife and I; you were awesome my man! Another shoutout to the photographer working there, I never caught your name, but our pictures turned out great, so thank you for that! If you're planing a trip to Yellowstone and whitewater rafting is on the agenda, I highly recommend Wild West Rafting, you won't regret booking with them. See more..

My husband and I booked the one hour horseback ride followed by an 8 mile river raft tour down the Yellowstone river. Both were Fantastic! The horseback ride offered gorgeous views and very easy well trained horses. We had Leen for the rafting guide, she was very fun and knowledgeable about the area, again stunning views of this gorgeous area, I would highly recommend both adventures. See more..
  8. 5.0 Montana Whitewater (1.262 reviews)
    - Rafting A Blast!
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing • Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks
    Montana Whitewater image
Our family of 10 enjoyed an adventure of a lifetime on a raft guided by Sophie on the Yellowstone River in Gardiner. We laughed, sang songs, rode the “bull” we later renamed as the hood ornament, and deepened our family bonding. The price was reasonable and the level of rapids was perfect for beginners as well as those more adventurous. See more..
  9. 5.0 Wild River Adventures - Day Tours (1.250 reviews)

Wild River Adventures - Day Tours image
Our guide was Ethan. Despite our large family of six, most of whom are over 6 feet tall, he handled the boat with confidence and great knowledge! He was patient, and shared knowledge of around every bend. We even had one child it was slightly anxious about white water rafting, and she had no fear whatsoever; instead had the time of her life! We would definitely recommend this outfitter for white water rafting and hope that one day will be able to return to Glacier to go once again! See more..

  13. 5.0 Yellowstone Wolf Tracker (686 reviews)
    - Best group to watch wolves with in Yellowstone
    Multi-day Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours
    Yellowstone Wolf Tracker image
This is an amazing group of people with a long history with wolves in Yellowstone. We did the 6-day Autumn Wolf Watch Premium vacation with them, and it was fantastic. Be prepared to get up very early (well before sunrise) to be in the park for the best wolf activity viewing. Note: in the park you must remain at lest 100 yards from wolves and grizzly bears. Most watching occurs at distances at least 1/2 mile. YWT provides really good, quality spotting scopes so you can see the wolves very clearly even at great distances. They also provide you afterwards with videos taken through the scopes. See more..

    - Wow - great church
Saturday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM Architectural Buildings • Religious Sites
    Cathedral of St. Helena image
We had visited thenStatenCapitol so walked to see the Cathedral. And it was definitely worth it. The cathedral is large (certainly by US standards) and picturesque outside, but it’s the inside that’s really impressive. Sadly so many churches remain locked when not in use these days, but this one was open. The altar is stunning as is the vaulted roof but the most breathtaking part is the stained glass. Well worth a visit. See more..
  17. 5.0 Paradise Adventure Company (576 reviews)
    - Exciting Raft Trip down Yellowstone River. (Rafting has recovered in area; the road to Gardiner repaired)
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing • Hiking & Camping Tours • Horseback Riding Tours
    Paradise Adventure Company image
Kelsey (also known as "Wonder Beard") was our guide on this class II and class III adventure just north of Yellowstone. His knowledge of rafting, safety and the river were excellent -- he showed us a great time! He was also there during the record flooding that closed Yellowstone and destroyed houses in the area a few weeks earlier. Luckily the town of Gardiner MT is in solid shape, and rafting is open and running. Please support the local Gardiner area, which also has great food (the "Wonderland Cafe and Lodge" was the best food of our whole MT trip!), lodging, the Roosevelt Arch (albeit Yellowstone's north entrance still closed atm), and lots of rafting. At the end of June, which is normally peak season (but was interrupted by the earlier flooding), this treasure of a town has availability of lodging, short wait times for restaurants, and open slots for rafting. We were easily able to travel to Gardiner via roads from Livingston MT. See more..
  18. 5.0 Glacier National Park (574 reviews)
    - Beautiful Park
Spent More than 3 hours National Parks
    Glacier National Park image
Everyone needs to see this National park. Even after all the glaciers melt within the next 30 years, there is still so much beauty. The glaciers are only the tip of the iceberg (no pun intended). You will see sweeping views 360 degrees all around you everywhere you go. It’s hard to take a bad picture here! I would recommend staying in the park if you can, but make sure to get reservations way in advance (at least a year) as places fill up fast. There aren’t too many roads here so it’s relatively easy to see all the top spots in the park in one trip. See more..

  20. 5.0 Ousel Falls Trail (559 reviews)
    - Pretty Hike
    Hiking Trails
    Ousel Falls Trail image
The Ousel Falls Trail is a short 1.8 mile mostly paved hike on the outskirts of Big Sky Village in Montana. The hike is pretty and features a path that meanders along a stream ending at the Ousel Falls. Having seen some large waterfalls prior to this hike, the falls themselves were a little underwhelming. But the hike was still enjoyable and worth doing. It is easily accessible and can be done by people of virtually any ability level. Its location near Big Sky makes it very accessible and easy to get to. On the whole, I recommend hiking out to Ousel Falls for anyone who just enjoys going on peaceful walks or just being outside. There are some picnic benches available for those who want to enjoy a meal out in nature. See more..
  21. 5.0 Glacier National Park Whitewater Rafting Trips (552 reviews)
    - Rafting Trip - Spring 2021
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing
Glacier National Park Whitewater Rafting Trips image
My husband and I booked a rafting trip in the off season just before summer. Friendly staff when checking in and the company provided wetsuits, PFD’s, and booties with a waterproof jacket. Our guide Justin, was knowledgeable about Glacier National Park and other historic places in the US. He went over safety instructions and procedures before starting the trip. It was like a personal tour, since it was a small group, only 3 of us and Justin on the river. Would recommend Glacier Park Rafting to anyone who loves to enjoy nature!! See more..

Our guides Sawyer and Kelsie were great! Not knowing how to swim, they made this experience enjoyable and safe for me. Our kids, ages 12 and 16, were entertained with the guides stories about the mountains and the community of Garnier and helping paddle. This trip was just the right mix of thrill and excitement for first time rafters. See more..

  25. 5.0 Yellowstone Wild (485 reviews)
    - Outstanding guide and Yellowstone tour
Saturday: 5:00 AM - 8:00 PM Hiking & Camping Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours
    Yellowstone Wild image
I want to thank Yellowstone Wild for the wonderful day we spent touring the park. We are a family of four (two teenagers) that visited the park about a month after the awful floods. We had booked our stay at the North end of the park and were delighted to find this company that was using the still restricted North entrance for tours. Our tour guide - Travis - is a Navy veteran who was absolutely fantastic. Our day started at six am and ended at six pm, and throughout the day Travis regaled us with stories on the history, geology, flora and fauna of the park. He showed us nooks and crannies on the tour that we would never have found on our own. He even changed the itinerary slightly so we could see more wildlife. We learned so much and my two teenagers will leave the park with so many nuggets of information to bring on future trips. Thank you Travis!! I also want to commend the company for being so understanding of food allergies. My daughter has multiple food allergies and I was touched to see that the company had carefully packed a separate lunch for her. These little details mean a lot when you are traveling on the road with family. I would happily come back to these folks! See more..

What a beautiful stretch of the Clark Fork River we were able to experience! We went for the more mellow float trip as we had young children and their Grandma on board. TJ was our river guide, and he made the trip so much fun for everyone! He was informative, engaged with the kids, articulate, and safety-focused. We had such a great trip thanks to his leadership and will never forget this day on the river in beautiful Montana! See more..

Had a full day of fishing on Flathead Lake with guide, Chris. Everything I had hoped for in a “bucket list” type fishing trip. 1st fish hooked less than one minute after dropping the jig bait down in the morning. 30” x 10# lake trout. 5 minutes later…. 33”x 12# lake trout. Dropped my line in again and it didn’t even hit bottom before I was hooked in to a 39” x 21.3# bad boy. What a blast!!! Had an excellent burger at The Raven for a noon time break and finished out the day catching another handful of lake trout. Fun fun fun!! Thanks for the memories Chris!!! See more..

This was a great way to visit Yellowstone NP. I don't think we would have had the same experience if toured on our own. Chris was very knowledgable about every aspect of the park, geology, fauna, flora and history. He did a great job of driving and spotting while we were able to relax, enjoy the views and wildlife. In a full day he was able to cover most highlights of the north loop. I would recommend a tour guide for Yellowstone NP and Yellowstone Guidelines will be an excellent choice. See more..
  32. 5.0 Rock Climb Montana (388 reviews)
    - Great learning experience and rock climbs
Saturday: 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM Climbing Tours
    Rock Climb Montana image
We wanted to try something different and adventurous during our trip to Glacier National and happened upon Rock Climb Montana. We did the half day, afternoon rock climb at Stryker Rock. Since we are not experienced rock climbers, Lee the owner, advised the Stryker location as easier to learn and the opportunity for more climbs from easy to more difficult. Pat was our guide and he helped us with the basics of tying knots, securing our harness, how to position our feet and hands, and how to belay so more than one of us can climb at a time. Soon enough, we were climbing starting with a beginner climb and advancing as Pat choose the appropriate difficulty based on our individual abilities. Pat made sure we all had a fun experience but that we also challenged ourselves. Our family of 4 each had opportunities to climb to our content and he helped us get some great photos of our experience. Plan to include rock climbing with Rock Climb Montana if visiting the Glacier National Area. See more..
  33. 5.0 Kootenai Falls & Swinging Bridge (381 reviews)
    - Amazing
    Spent 1-2 hours Bridges
Kootenai Falls & Swinging Bridge image
Seen a lot of bridges, rivers, and falls. These attractions are a standout. The pristine, no trash, trails were impressive. The hanging bridge did not disappoint and gave a great view of the river, and above all, the falls area was unlike we had ever seen. The unusual terrace features of the upper falls and the amount of water traveling down the shutes and various falls made this a must see. We went early in the morning when few people were around. Highly reccommend. See more..

Saturday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Fishing Charters & Tours
    Montana Angler Fly Fishing image
This is the second trip we have booked with Montana Angler and both exceeded expectations. Brian and his team put together a wonderful trip for us this year that we won’t soon forget. We booked a fishing package that included lodging at the Yellowstone Valley Lodge, evening meals at the Yellowstone Valley Grill (superb—5+stars!) and a full day and one half day of fishing for me and my 14-year old son. Josh Michaelis was our guide for the 2019 trip and this one by request. He is very knowledgeable and taught my son a lot about fly fishing. On Day 1, he caught—as Josh put it—the “brown trout of a lifetime”. We’ll always remember that day. Let Montana Angler plan your next fly fishing trip—top-notch all the way. See more..

    - Captain Chris & Flathead Lake are the Recipe for Success
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM Fishing Charters & Tours
Howe’s Fishing – A Able/Mo Fisch Charters and Tours image
Captain Chris was awesome! I have fished all over the U.S. and with several charter Captains. Chris was great with the kids and worked all his contacts and teammates on the water to put fish in the box. Captain Chris also worked the water hard by changing lures often to help us land four lake trout in a half day trip! One of them was 12 pounds and one of the others was over 10 pounds. Even though his 30-foot boat is a little more for a half day trip, I recommend going out on that one when on Flathead. When booking with Howe's Fishing, only ask for the best - Captain Chris!!! Yellowstone Insight - Day Tours image
I have lived in the Yellowstone area for 40 years and have seen a wide variety of touring guides. A handful of them are extremely knowledgable, experienced, and dedicated. When my sister from Massachusetts and her husband told me they were coming for a visit, I knew I would be bringing them around Yellowstone, but not like an educated guide would. So I called MacNeil right away to book early since he is my first choice. He was communicative, planned in advance well, knew what was going on where in the Park, and gave them an unforgettable tour packed with details you could never figure out on your own. My sister said it helped them understand so much more about Yellowstone and what's happening every day here. It helped them plan what they wanted to do more of, and what they wanted to do next in their week here. They were in good hands and I'm so glad he was available! See more..

  41. 5.0 Virginia Falls (274 reviews)
    - Great Trail to Beautiful Waterfall
    Waterfalls
    Virginia Falls image
I hiked the trail to Virginia Falls. Originally this was not my first choice hike, but full parking lots at Avalanche Lake and Logan Pass forced me all the way to Sun Point to find a spot. I took off down the trail from Sun Point which has great views of St. Mary Lake. I passed two other waterfalls on the way as well. Virginia Falls is only an extra mile round-trip from St. Mary’s Falls and is worth the extra distance. The waterfall was gorgeous! Make sure to hike all the way to the top to see the upper parts of the cascade. I found a nice place near the lower cascade to have lunch and read a book before hiking back. I’m glad I had a chance to do this hike! The trails are very good and not very strenuous. The views are spectacular and change dramatically with every turn of the trail. See more..

    - So much fun and amazing views!
Saturday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Spent More than 3 hours Gear Rentals
    Yellowstone Adventures image
YA was truly a fun adventure. We did the trails in the summer (end of July) and it was DRY. We had two adults and two kids, ages 13/10. We rented the two seater because we wanted to go to the top of two top mountain. The 4 seater would not fit inside the fence to get you to the top. It was so much fun! If its summer and dry take bandanas and goggles. If you have that you are good to go. I would almost recommend taking garbage bags to put your cooler and things in while you are on the move. It was SO dusty and I still can't get all of the dirt off my backpack. We had a soft yeti cooler that we took w/ us on the trip them we had a backpack w food and change of clothes. We also packed a lunch. Also, we took a final trail that ended at Hebgen Lake and found a spot near the water that was remote. We changed clothes and swam for a few to get the dirt off because it is A LOT! We got our ATVs around 10:30 and returned them right at 5. It was a fantastic day. See more..

    - 5 Star Day with Yellowstone Outfitters
    Fishing Charters & Tours
    Yellowstone River Outfitters image
5 Star day on the Yellowstone with Brogan. We fished Yankee Jim Canyon, just months after the historic flooding of this river. While damage from the flood was evident from our raft, the river is as clear and full of trout and whitefish, as ever. Mid August, we had success with hoppers and droppers, and nymphs, in many sections. Bald Eagles and osprey highlighted the send off down the Canyon. Highly recommend Yellowstone Outfitters This was my second year working with Brogan on fly fishing skills... His skills in the classroom transfer to the river, which allowed me to have another memorable day on the Yellowstone. See more..

  46. 5.0 Gallatin River Guides (262 reviews)
    - Exceptional GRG Service for Large Group
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Fishing Charters & Tours
    Gallatin River Guides image
We had a large group of 13 adults and teenagers, and GRG took amazing care of us! We split into dads/sons, moms and daughters, and the professional crew of Hunter, Tanner, Casey, Brian, Tim, Lindsay and Ryan made sure we had an unforgettable day! They took us to select fishing spots to try and win $$ prizes for the most and largest fish. As senior guide, Hunter's deep expertise was evident as each person who fished with him solo caught record numbers of fish! GRG was highly professional throughout the process and accommodating for our large group. Tim called us the day before to arrange for a seamless check in and fitting process. Highly recommend GRG for the Gallatin!! See more..
  47. 5.0 In Our Nature Guiding Services (258 reviews)
    - Wonderful Experiences!!

In Our Nature Guiding Services image
We booked In Our Nature Guides for two tours: a 6 mile hike in Yellowstone and the early morning nature viewing. The hike was excellent. Nancy, our guide, is a fountain of information! She also had an amazing eye for spotting tracks and other evidence of animals such as paw prints, markings on trees, and lots and lots of different types of poop. The kids asked questions for 6 hours straight and Nancy fielded them brilliantly! The early morning nature viewing was a very cool experience. We got to see a pack of wolves frolicking in a field, many bison, and mountain goats. Nancy and Cara did a wonderful job managing our party of 8 with the scopes and keeping us moving to keep the kids' attention spans. We would highly recommend this group of guides. In hindsight, we were very happy we didn't try to do it all on our own. It is a much better experience to go with someone who knows where and when to be! See more..

  49. 5.0 Pangaea River Rafting (256 reviews)
    - More than just rafting....
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing
    Pangaea River Rafting image
Highly recommended!!!! Our family has been on several rafting trips but this was hands down our best experience. Josie, our guide, was fantastic. She wasn't just our rafting guide but a guide to fun. We took turns "riding the bull", "surfed" the rapids,, jumped from rocks into the river and even floated down some smaller rapids without the boat!!! Our 11 year old did all those activities and really let loose. Overall I recommend this company if you are looking for an experience beyond just floating down a river. See more..
